  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My last date? July-ish 06. A year and a half ago.

Why none since? I don't know. I guess there haven't been any guys around that are desperate enough to resort to dating me.

Sorry, I'm in a really self-pitiful mood. I mean, it's probably true, but on any other night I would say that as an objective fact. Tonight, I'm saying it cause I'm mad and I want sympathy. No need to indulge me, though, I'll get over it (eventually).

I have been seeing this guy for a little bit and things are going grand. We went to a concert just last week and a school fundraiser gongshow party and out for dinner a couple times.
Oh and he came over for the family shenanigans and dinner this last weekend - they like him, guess I have to, too?

My last real date was in 2005 or 2006. I ended up going on two more dates with that guy but we didn't really have any chemistry or much in common. I also met a guy in church in 2006 and we chatted on the phone a lot. He asked me out but I was not interested anymore after having learned some things about him via the phone. Last year, I had a pretty serious long distance interest but that didn't work out due to some belief differences and we never met so that doesn't count. And now I'm just not interested in dating at the moment. I really don't know if I should bother until I get done losing weight.

One problem with that. It's artificial. The only way to really solve this problem would be to get members of this forum who have never dated to meet in real life and actually go on a real date.

I think my problem is that I am so awesome, that I just can't pick and choose between the mobs of ladies that want me to take out on dates. It just wouldn't be fair to deprive so many women, so I just stay at home instead of making them all so jealous of that one lucky lady!

(My real problem is that I let lack of time be my excuse so I don't have to take the risk of getting rejected. In reality, I simply don't make the time to date when I probably could find the time if I really wanted to.)

I havethe exact same peoblem with guys! I gt tired of having to break up fights and having my portrait painted or being the subject of songs and poems.
