In the sense of 'physically mutulate" yourself in order to get rid of sexual body parts.

This really is a religious question, not that im insane enough to try however when jesus said ' its better to cut off that what bothers you then to end up with that part in hell' , one man really just ripped his eye out and threw it away(real happend story) because he saw the devil in it. So i was wondering for the love of God just castrating/sterlisating yourself,maby even getting rid of your breasts or getting rid of your genetalia , would anyone be willing after being so stressed about their own sexuality enough that they would perform such a thing on themselves, just in order so they can be free of sexual sin and desire in order to please God and find peace themselves?

And i hate sexuality and wonder if sometimes i couldn't get rid of it all, which is rediculous one part because i dislike pain, but when you give into beastly temptations i would sure wish for an on-off button gosh.

Hating sexuality is hating its Creator. Your first step is to re-educate yourself about sex. Your views are not Christian, although I understand the issue you are facing, along with most unmarried christians.

I'm not sure about this. I'm troubled by lustful temptations but thankfully have never sinned and as my wedding day gets ever closer I think I'll make it but if I ever did 'M' I think I'd wish that part of my body was gone rather than risk it happening again.
I know there are parts of Africa etc where they cut off girls' clitorises before puberty so they can't abuse themselves but this seems to me very extreme - most of them could probably have kept themselves pure without needing surgery.
Perhaps if a person has a real problem that they can't stop themselves, even with God's love and support, it could be a good solution. My sister had a friend who self-abused 4-5 times a day then became very promuscuous and was so troubled that she became suicidal. She didn't have anything actually removed but she did have a nerve in her [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] cut so she couldn't have [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]. She was very grateful for that operation and it helped her live a normal life. But in a way I think using surgery to stop yourself sinning is a weak thing compared to using will power combined with prayer to beat those temptations from within.

I'm sorry - but I think that to self-mutilate/cut off [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] or nerves or what ever is definitely going against what God intended. That girl who had a nerve cut in her [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] will never be able to fully enjoy the sexual experience, which God did intend for us in a loving monogomous relationship. I think it would be better to pray for strength in not acting on lustful thoughts. And if we do fail, ask for forgiveness. But God did not give the gift of making love so we could mutilate ourselves and not fully enjoy it.

Do whatever it takes to rid yourself of sin in your life.
What would damaging your body do to eliminate a spiritual issue? Nothing.
Porn problem? Nuke your net connection and get some accountability.
It's a turning/renewing of the mind.

Considering that most women can't even get a tubal ligation if they don't already have several children and aren't nearly 30 as well, I'd like to know the name of a doctor who willingly performed this surgery. This sounds to me like it may have been done by someone without a medical liscence (which happens more than you'd like to think, especially with guys who for some reason want to be castrated). Doctors don't usually perform such surgery.

Sexuality is a gift from God, to be used for its intended purposes. Jesus was speaking figuratively. If you have a problem dealing with your sexuality, then congratulations, you're human. Deal with it the way God would want you to...avoid temptation, be accountable, and pray for strength in times of weakness. And if you stumble, then repent, get back in the saddle, and commit yourself to living the life God wants you to live.

It's all about growing spiritually through a loving relationship with your heavenly Father.

What if a person doesn't want "a relationship"?

What if a person doesn't want marriage?

Some people don't like sex. Is that a sin?

Where in the Bible does it say that God "intended" for us to "enjoy the sexual experience" anyway? It has always bothered me that the church has taken the liberty to decide for everybody the value of sexuality. What gives anybody the authority to tell me how I should feel about sexuality?

We undergo all kinds of other medical procedures to improve our lives. Why are the ones that involve the genitalia sinful while the others aren't?

And the problem doesn't end with "I do". People have to deal with it even when they are married.

I don't know where women can go, but there is a (licensed) physician in the U.S. famous for being the one for men to turn to: Dr. Felix Spector of Philadelphia, PA.

So let me get this straight. You're talking Catholic, right? I think the Bible tells us that the most pure and Godly way that people can live is without lust or sexual actions. Because the Lord knows that this is impossible for most people he created marriage as the morally acceptable environment for people to satisfy their urges because it's an unselfish relationship and brings new life into this world.

So it's definitely not sinful not to like sex, quite the reverse. Otherwise, nuns, priests and other holy orders would be ignoring the Lord, whereas in fact they renounce the sins of the flesh in order to keep their souls pure and devoted to God.

Is it morally acceptable to have surgery to reduce/remove your sexual urges? I think it's a brave thing to do and probably very moral, as long as it's for the right reasons. The Bible makes reference to eunuchs, after all, and there have been Christian sects in the past where all followers remove their sex organs and the creation of eunuchs in the Catholic church to sing in choirs was quite common in Italy until the early 20th century.

There is no way that Jesus literally wanted us to mutilate our bodies! He was stressing how seriously we must take sin and temptation. Sin is VERY serious!!!!
I've even tried to apply this attitude to getting rid of my computer, but then I found that everytime I saw a computer I thought of pornography. So I am learning that I must SERIOUSLY seek true and full submission, as well as healing and deliverance.
