TA, we will have to agree to disagree.

Unfortunately, your understanding of ToE is only what creationists tell you it is. Your previous posts reflect this fact. I know because I have fully investigated creationism (i.e. read books, videos, debates, lectures, etc.).
I also have fully investigated ToE (B.S. Biology, and it's a hobby of mine).

So, I fully have an advantage over you when it comes to the arguments. I would recommend you read a book written by an evolutionary biologist to understand what ToE really is (don't worry, it won't shake your faith, in fact, you might be a little surprised, even shocked when you find out what ToE really is). If you would like a few book suggestions, I can point you in the right direction.

BTW, you still have not answered how creationism postulates that a bird that cannot fly and was specially designed to live in antartica, made it all the way there from from present day Turkery after the flood.

Actually since I was born on a Saturday and was taught by a woman; I do and can remove the evil eye. I do it all the time. Greeks are very good at removing evil eyes. LOL

All I can really say is this..
I believe in creation because I believe in GOD. His word hs never changed, and the wondeful part of that is, when so many scientists, astronomers, and highly educated people have been wrong, we can look back in the word of GOD an it is there, in black and white, plain as day.
When it was thought the earth was flat, the word told us, it is round. When they said there are around 600 stars in the sky, the word said they are innumerable. HIS word has never been wrong.
I believe in creation, because I have faith in HIS love, and like I know the love from my family is real, although I cannot see it, I can feel it, and I know it is real.

One other thing I want to state. For those that have been fooled by the evolution theory. Evolution does not even qualify to be a theroy. A theory must be tested and retested, wth conclusive results that indicate if it can become a theory. And a therory cannot be proven right, but can by trial be proven wrong, and over the years evolution has changed repeadly.

Erm, I'm fairly certain that scientists since some of the oldest civilisations have insisted that the earth wasn't flat. And the Bible doesn't outright state that the Earth is an oblate spheroid either, it takes some creative interpretation.

Innumerable stars? There's certainly a finite number. And I'm not sure where you're getting your 600 figure from either, anyone with eyes could see there were more than 600.

Care to give some examples, then? There's plenty of evidence supporting it. Look up endogenous retrovirii (ERVs).

"Evolution has changed repeatedly" - yeah...that's kinda how science works, if one version of the theory fails to explain what is seen, it is corrected. That doesn't always mean the lot has to go foundations and all - it might just need some minor tweaking.

And I notice that even by your own evaluation evolution hasn't been proved wrong, it's just been changed repeatedly, so I'm not seeing what the issue is here.

I honestly feel sorry for all the victims who have been fooled by all the false religions all around the world. Earnest people, needing something in their lives that the religion offers to provide, putting their trust in self styled holy men. All of the religions pretend to be the one true one.

Maybe there is a true one, maybe there is a god. Who has it figured out which is the true religion, who has it figured out what is the true nature of this god? For anyone to say that they KNOW God... and sciencd... well enough to say the KNOW God did not make the world THIS way bot did make it THAT way, well, that strikes me as a very unsuitably presumptuous and self satisfied. Maybe it isnt... just looks that way to me.

The reason that i do not believe in both is because of the anatomy of the eyeball. The sense of sight could not have evolved over time, it had to happen all at once, so I truly think that whe GOD made it all the first time, it hasstayedhat way since.

In all honesty what hope is there for the US when most of it's people think like this?
it must drain the others of any hope whatsoever, how can this happen? or be allowed to happen?
the lack of education breeds religion, the US must be a con mans paradise, so many gullable people.

people say that, but we would not have entered WWII if it was not for our own benefit, and it was. Think about this, if europe fell the embargo on japan would have been hard impossible to mantain, Hawaii would become a japanese base and we would be attacked from both costs simitaniusely.

Consol is absolutely right when he points out the lack of erudition rampant in American society. When a nation has the capability of totally destroying this planet and that nation is ruled by people who yearn for the second coming and dismiss science at a whim; then Yes this world should worry! By teaching young people that science is invalid compared to the teachings of the bible then America is doomed to relieve the stoneage. Teaching Creationism in school is no different to the Talibans enforcing Sharia law on society. America is creating Christian Talibans.

first of all, where in the American school system is creationism taught?

second, you do realize that the U.S. has been a pioneer of using science to make the world a better place for the entire 20th century, right? From the automobile, to the airplane, the telephone, television, light bulb, sending a man to the moon, etc., the U.S. has led the world out the stone age into the modern age.

the fact that the U.S. has a religious history hasn't been a problem at all.

In a way. Pearl harbor sold the war to the people but it also showed that if Europe fell to Germany that we would be fighting a war on both the west cost and the east cost.

Also it conveniently got us out of the depression. So no we diden't just save Europe out of kindness as you suggest. we did it to save our own butts.

I am also willing to bet that you diden't know that the president Knew that pearl harbor would be attacked, but we let it happen to anger the people into accepting a war in a time of local peace. I can think of an event not to long ago that is remarkably similar.
