Exodus 17:8-15.
The scripture talks about how Moses went up on the hilltop while the war against the amalikites with his hands up. This text of scripture also reveals to us that as long as he kept his hands up Israel would win. But the minute he would let his arms down they would lose. So he kept his hands up until the battle was over.
I have often heard the expression "this battle is the Lord's". And we as the saints of God need to understand that the minute warfare comes up against you, go through it with a praise! I don't care what obtacles are ahead of you, as long as you keep your hands up, you will win. Worship wins war! I reminded when Jehosaphat went out to battle, the bible said that all he and the army kept saying was "praise the Lord, for His mercy endureth forever!" Sometimes when you go through the cares of life all you have to do is lift your hands and say "Praise the Lord, for His mercy endureth forever!"
