ultimately it saddens me to think because I enjoy eating meat and bacon, but if there's no death, it doesn't sound like there will be such food only food mentioned is fruit.
I'd rather have bacon than fruit.
Maybe God will be gracious and make a concession where we can have trees that grow bacon.
Maybe God will make a concession for me and have some areas where you can still have night because while I love the peace and tranquility of night time and love being able to see billions and trillions of miles away into the stars and think the vastness proclaims God's glory, enough first century people were scared of the dark that God promised them no night.
Maybe God will make a concession for me and have large enough bodies of water that they can behave like the sea shore, and have coral reefs to swim in, because I love the sound of the waves on the shore and think the beauty of the sea proclaims God's glory more than stupid streets of gold and walls of jasper and wealthy looking stones. But enough first century people were scared of the water that God promised them no seas.

Anyone else think the descriptions of Heaven sound like there's nothing there that they'd like except God and no sin?
Gold, jewels, riches, are all meaningless to me.

Sorry didn't see it mixed in, but you asked where the law forbidding eating Pork was done away with and that's where.

Is there no 1000 year reign?

Yes there is a 1000 year reign in Heaven. The Lord does not touch earth until New Jerusalem is brought down from heaven at the end of the 1000 years.

The earth is void of humans after the first resurrection as the dead and living righteous are caught up with Lord in the air and wicked are destroyed by the Glory of God at that time.

Satan is bound to this desolate earth for 1000 years with no humans to deceive.

However I believe Peter when it says

It seems like you want to disagree with God and agree with Peter's initial reaction. You are calling unclean what God has said is clean.

Hark, the Word of God in acts 10 says that
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

I believe the words in the Bible are inspired words thus if it says "it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation" I do not question it. I do not need to see a man made law (as God is showing Peter that it is not right) that says the Jews were not to associates with gentiles.

It seems like you want to disagree with God and agree with Peter's initial reaction. You are calling unclean what God has said is clean.

Three times Peter said No.

Immediately thereafter, did hungry Peter eat? No.A messenger comes to speak to him. Does the messenger tell hungry Peter where to find three bacon burgers? No. He does tell him that tree gentiles are looking for him. Did the three gentiles bring hungry Peter three pork chops? No. They had important business to take care of. Did hungry Peter tell the three gentiles "I'm busy. YHWH just told be to hunt down unclean animals against his own law?" No. Does it mention anyone eating pork along the way? No. Is there any mention of any devout disciple of Yahshua eating pork? No.

GOD did not create the Gentiles unclean did he? Yet the Jews called them unclean.

What law? The Talmudic law, Roman law, or YHWH's law? If it's YHWH's law; you should have no difficulty producing the book, chapter, and verse. If it's not in the Torah; it's most likely from the Talmud.
