The proof is that it is not used in the liturgy of the Christian Churches.

We can name the five historial Christian Churches of the first 1000 years.

One of them is the root. Zion!

The Church of Jerusalem
The Church of Antioch
The Church of Alexandria
The Church of Rome
The Church of Constantinople

Examine their use of scripture, you will not find the Gospel of Thomas.
