It states nothing other than being formed around the same time. Two different churches that have nothing in common other than the time they formed. 1844 the Great Disappointment was a wide spread religious movement.Argue with the website, it was a quotation.
Wrong. It states nothing other than being formed around the same time.
That what I just said, 1844 was a wide spread religion movement that formed many churches around the same time. Are you saying every company and every church that formed in the mid to late 1800’s are the same? The JW and SDA and vastly different beliefs, started by different people have different doctrines. SDA is a bible believing church.Wrong.
"Both Christian denominations stemmed from the same religious movement...The similarities between the two groups can be traced back to their origins."

No, you said:That what I just said
It states nothing other than being formed around the same time.
Northern America is not the whole world.1844 was a world wide religion movement
It was a widespread movement across many denominations. Things written afterwards does not reflect what really happened. The point is the SDA church and the JW are different denominations and have nothing to do with each other other than being formed around the same time. No, you said:
Northern America is not the whole world.
You do not seem to understand that having the same origins in the same movement is not just about year.It was a widespread movement across many denominations. Things written afterwards does not reflect what really happened. The point is the SDA church and the JW are different denominations and have nothing to do with each other other than being formed around the same time.
It’s like saying if Ford Motors formed in 1844 and and so did GMC they are the same company. Saying it doesn’t make it true.
Take care.
I know what a movement is and many denominations came together in 1844 for the great disappointment that was started by a Baptist minister who misunderstood the scripture and predicted the second coming of Jesus. Out of this movement several churches formed that were unrelated other than all believing that Jesus was coming in 1844 which included churches from a lot of different denominations. The SDA church did not form until 1863.You do not seem to understand that having the same origins in the same movement is not just about year.
Do you know what a movement is?
There were people from around the world, but the term I should have used was wide spread. I have since update my post. Take care. Its not the meaning of the "worldwide" term. Do you know what "worldwide" means?
Wide spread in the Northern America, in some protestant circles. There were people from around the world, but the term I should have used was wide spread. I have since update my post. Take care.
The similarities between the two groups can be traced back to their origins. Both SDA, or Seventh Day Adventists, and Jehovah’s Witnesses were born out of “The Great Disappointment” of 1844. During this event, preacher William Miller believed that the Second Coming of Christ was near.
When Jesus failed to appear, his followers split into different groups, including those of SDA and Jehovah’s Witnesses, among others. What is the Difference Between Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses? - Adventist Guide
Your website is misinformation and not SDA so why post misinformation trying to make us look as though we have the same beliefs as JW/LDS when we believe no such thing rather than talk scripture and test what we believe with Gods' Word?Argue with the website "adventistguide.com", it was a quotation - as indicated by italics and by the source.
Then why provide misinformation from websites instead of discussing scripture? No, I already know your explanations. Its not the first time talking with SDA, for me.
Your website is misinformation
There is not a single scripture that says that "the Lords day" of Revelation 1:10 is Sunday or the first day of the week. Just like there is not a single scripture that says Gods 4th commandments of the 10 commandments that give us a knowledge of what sin is when broken (Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4) has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day in honor of the resurrection of Jesus. These are both man-made teachings and traditions not supported by Gods' Word that have led many away from Gods Word to break the commandments of God.A decent and informative read:
The Lord’s Day Replaced the Sabbath
No problem I have read a lot of it and know what I believe. Go look for the owner of the website. Bet you can't find it. It looks like someone's blog site.Prove it.
Don't tell me your under the law also?
You can find it in other sources, if you like. For example wikipedia.Your website is misinformation and not SDA so why post misinformation trying to make us look as though we have the same beliefs as JW/LDS when we believe no such thing rather than talk scripture and test what we believe with Gods' Word?
What is the misinformation? Then why provide misinformation from websites instead of discussing scripture?
