Always sound so Evil?

Just listening to it makes you want to feel angry and resentful.

To be honest, German Music has always sounded a bit dodgy what with artists like Sash and Kraftwerk.
One, the way the language is constructed. German isn't exactly the most graceful of languages most of the time (there are sometimes it does sound rather nice, though).

Two, Rammstein performs Industrial Metal. Industrial Metal isn't exactly the happiest of music genres either. Industrial is bleak and aggressive because of the social climate it arose from in England during the 70s (although Industrial Metal didn't come around until the late 80s with mostly American and German bands like Ministry and KMFDM).

Three, much of their lyrics reflect the mindset of Germany in regards to its spiritual background and the seperation of East and West for a good forty years. The Teutonic view of spirituality (including Christianity) is very Gothic (the idea that the pain in your life is direct punishment from God for your actions, and that basically God has forsaken you - this mindset was very prevalent during the Dark Ages because of the Plague and the treatment of most people by the feudal lords). The Communist oppression of East Germany (where Rammstein's members were from and where the band was formed, after the wall came down) also gave people a very depressing and dark view of life. Basically, Rammstein's music is very representative of those experiences, even if it isn't talking about it directly.

It's never made me angry or resentful. It gets the adrenaline going though, and when you're already angry it can really help you vent some of that pent-up tension. And how does Kraftwerk's music seem dodgy? Ich weiß nicht, über was Sie sprechen.

i agree ramstein doesnt make me angry, i enjoy rammstein songs, there r much worse bands such as slayer etc.
Yeah, Slayer is much worse. There's practically an entire ocean (figuratively speaking) between Rammstein and Slayer when it comes to being harmful.
