Hmm. Check out the reviews for the more polemical religion books on Amazon, be it pro, or anti-. Anonymity and religious discussion make for all kinds of ugly given how pervasive the "God Debate" is nowadays. This sounds a bit simplistic but presumably it would be the same reason most theists believe in God - he exists.
