I can't talk about religion in the dog forums either.I don't care about dogs or the people who like them so I don't go to such forums. I don't feel the need to tell dog lovers that I don't share their zeal. Why do atheists feel like they have to come to a Christian forum and debate?
I get it. You set up a phony criterion for posting in someone else's thread---one completely unrelated to its subject---and then suggest it should function as standard for posting here. It's very obvious where you're coming from, and you have my sympathy. If you really think you can prove the Bible says "You cannot argue against other people" you really ought to go elsewhere.

Completely untrue and you should know this, why bear false witness in this fashion?<staff edit>
You have it backwards, see the Russel quote in my signature. I can't help but think that you're batting for the wrong team. As is shown on just about every E&M thread the non-theists consistently show a higher standard of morality than the theists (with notable exceptions).<staff edit>
It is just fun to debate people.
jmverville said:I am not an atheist, by the way, I am a Christian. I would not ever come to these forums if it were not for the atheists (though maybe occasionally to talk a little theology, perhaps).
My life is centered in opposition to this decadent world and waging a war against the moral looseness of our times.
It is not so important to me that I debate religion... Religion is a very personal view... But rather, I stand against all liberalism in all forms.
Atheism is not inherently liberal. I do not have a large problem with it and it is between God and themselves, but the pure and utter moral relativity of this section of the forums is so amazing it is like a golden pot of Evil.
Evil is having no standards, my friend. Never forget that. Evil is self service. Satan is self service.

hehe i got a hunch that part of the 'charm' of debating is that it interrupts boredom, at least for a while, and is possibly an escape from some kinda emptiness echoing in a soul that is looking for something more.....

The HS has a belt?I have no need to put 'notches' on my belt or be on the prowl to 'convert' anyone. The Holy Spirit does that.
The HS has a belt?
Quite fine. Spend a nice weekend in Hamburg and am looking forward to my summer vacation which will be in two weeks.ROFL!!! hehe how ye be?
Then he better not cut notches in it, eh?I suspect any belt the Holy Spirit has is more along the lines of a belt of righteousness or truth

I´ll PM you.

Another interesting question is: Why do Christians come to a Christian forum?"I hear girls all the time say things like 'I'm not religious but I'm very spiritual.' I reply with 'I'm not honest, but you're interesting.'"
Why do buddhists come to a christian website?
Why do agnostics "" "" "" ?
Why do shintoists "" "" ?
Why do pagans """ "" ?
Why do wiccans "" "?
Why do muslims "" " "" ?
Why do scientologists "" " " ?
Why does anyone besides one who believes theirself to be Christian """ "" "" ?
Know these questions first, and only then will you know why atheists come to a Christian forum.
