Well, I understand human rights (Galatians 3:28), but the other stuff (gender) has got to go. A long time ago, Democrats never talked about identity politics as much as it is now. Call me an old soul, but I miss the days where Democrats focused on real issues, such as making medical bills lower, helping American citizens, and building more wind turbines. Remember those days, the early Obama years of 2009-2013 and before?I'm afraid that what you see as "woke", the Democratic Party sees as "human rights", so I don't think the party is going to budge a lot on those social issues. Harris and Biden are about as centrist as you can expect the party to be right now.
What could happen, though, if the two major parties are willing, is that (after the election) the two parties can work out compromises when different sets of human rights come into conflict. I don't know if our current Congress is up to that, but we can dream.
