Easy, the only time she tried to get the Presidential nomination she was soundly defeated, getting so little support she didn't even survive until the primaries started. Just because she was the VP, and Biden endorsed her, does not make her the best nominee or one that a majority of Democrats want.
But we've had a precedent remember? And her husband was the president. If anyone knows the job he does. Trump wasn't qualified either but they chose him. His popularity is difficult to overcome for most.

I would not have voted for Hillary Clinton if her only qualification had been her time as First Lady. By the time she was running for president, she had served as senator and as Secretary of State, a much more substantial resume.
I hope she picks someone smart that has some geopolitical experience and a small understanding of the economy. Has anyone voted for a president because of the VP? I think Pence drew a lot of Christian fence sitters to Trump.There's loads of qualified centrist D's who make a good choice. I think of my CO Senator Bennet for example. She probably wont go too far left in this political environment.

She is representing the Democratic Party in this election, after all.

There was that game show host that won the Presidency, (who had no political experience), what was his name?Michelle Obama? She has never held elected public office. Neither has Kennedy, to my knowledge (aside from a very brief time as assistant DA). President is not an entry-level job.

I'm just thinking that if there was some VP of any race that can talk intelligently on issues more Independents might float his way because Harris is a turnoff.I do think a white male centrist is the only choice. "Electability" is the watchword (again).

Legally, I believe so, since he’s constitutionally eligible to be president again.Could Harris pick Joe Biden to be her VP? Those two simply trading places would make for the least change, and Joe could be right there to help here out.
