Logos the same company that has the SDA Commentaries and EGW writings software provide vast collections for theologians, Bible scholars, Biblical Historians and now to the laity. I am sure that you have religious university close by and there are many religious libraries now on the internet that you might have to subscribe to with a fee. There is no excuse today for people not to know this basic information about the Bible. The Qumran Caves near the Dead Sea is where they found collections of the original Hebrew Bible. They found most were pieces of the Torah except for Isaiah. This proved that this text was exact for over a thousand years. You also should know the LXX is the problem one and during Origen around the third century after the resurrection of our Savior, he and other translated and added to this old Greek manuscript. The original church that the Apostles started begins to have offshoots. The Christians and the original Nazarenes begin to dispute over Scriptures versus doctrines that the Christians accepted and the Nazarenes refuse to accept like the word "Christo." This is the root word for Christian that started in Antioch as a curse. Then other offshoot separated like the Gnostic, Manichaean, Ebonite's and finally the Hellenized faith called the Christians and later formed the Catholic Church. The Protestants only moved away from the Catholic Church and its belief in images but not all of its pagan Hellenized beliefs and practices that even the SDA is caught up in! The Nazarenes today have become corrupt as well.
The truth of the Bible is not hidden even in the corrupt manuscripts. You must understand words and compare Bibles especially those who are translating and not interpreting their beliefs. These Bible that are keeping in step with Hebraic and Syriac writing instead of the LXX are excellent. The most important thing is to study the history of the Bible, and the various religious sects before during and after the Messiah return to Heaven, also who believe what. I guarantee you will have a clearly understanding of the KJV and to know what is correct and what is not. EGW even though she exposed the corruption she still remain faithful to the KJV. There are better versions that are making the changes because Yahweh word will not come back void!
