Well, it's just a bit odd to see that, while for the most part the facts of the case speak for themselves, one finds occasional people on the web who are inclined to look for ways to get the guy off the hook.

It'd be interesting comparing discussion of this case here to what it would look like on, say, Stormfront. I'd guess the view from here has a lot less need to try to excuse the guy just because he's a racist.
