It's me! Who else could it be...
To be fair though, Linux has a lot more problems with wireless than Windows does. Statistics would indicate that eventually the issue would go in reverse, but it's pretty rare.
I've had quite a few wireless enabled desktops and laptops at home. Not once did I have an issue with configuring wireless under Linux. The USB wireless adapter attached to that Win 7 PC now has worked with XP and Vista (using the client software) but Win 7 has decided to semi-foobar it!
BTW, I did install the USB wireless adapter client software, it works as per windows wireless except again, not being able to get an IP address from DHCP.
