You mean like the old days where everybody was probably exposed to the Bible as a matter of education (even if they didn't go to church), and maybe even a few laws written inspired by some verses etc.?

An example I have in mind is women today do not wear head coverings in church.

Those who favor women head pastors will sometimes claim that the Bible is culturally conditioned due to educational levels of women back then and today.
