Just 3 things? Are you serious? :o

Well, I'll give a shot.

1. Be a Christian who actually tries to be like Christ, not in a "I'm better than you" type of way, but in a "I'll stand right here beside you to pray for you" type of way. How does he treat others? How does he emanate Christ? DOES he emanate him in even the slightest way? How does his belief impact his daily decisions?

2. Honesty He is honest. I despise, absolutely DESPISE lying or deception. And once a guy lies to me, my trust in his word is already on a downward spiral. Lying doesn't just bother me, but God too! That's one of the 7 things the Lord detests, after all, right? A lying tongue. In fact, if the guy hates all those 7 things the Lord hates, then he'd be a true gem. I have zero respect for liars. And even if I didn't, liars still don't bring out the best in me, and what good would I be then?

3. Respect I need a man who can respect me. And not just me, but other people, especially women. But if he can respect me and be decent to me, even if it's hard, then that's a major plus. I don't mean that he has to bow down to my every whim, but...it would just be nice if he can acknowledge my individuality, and treat me like I'm something worth a fight on his part. And if he has an opinion that differs than mine, then at least respect the fact that I have an opinion and that my mind is doing its own motions. Respect is just...very nice.

Now just for the record, it's very tough to limit a list to just 3 items. There's still so much I'd love to have (and feel like I need to have), but I gotta cooperate with the general tone of the thread!

Good list.. I also should've included the family thing. I'm in search for someone that is close to their family, as I am, and will let me get in close.

I want my SO's home to feel as a second home.

I actually broke up with a girl before because her family hated me.. it was uncomfortable to be there.. and I was not willing to put up with that.

Oh..I honestly don't know if I could be with someone if they didn't get along with my family, or I didn't get along with them. So...good call (in my opinion)
