Dissection - Night's Blood

yeah, i know i've not liked black metal for long (not long enough to call if my favorite genre of all time, but it is my favorite), but this song, this song is the absolute definition of black metal, the music, excellent, the vocals, excellent, the recording (for a 'traditional' recording) excellent, the length and structure, excellent.

Anyway, Yam Kamil is actually the mayan god of the underworld. I have a sort of fascination with ancient mesoamerican cultures. I also happened to have spelled Kamil with an 'i' on accident however.

My favourite song of all time is Bohemian Rhapsody. It blew me away when I first heard it, and still continues to impress me.

Other than that, I'm not sure what my favourite songs are. Here's a list of 5 of them, but ask me tomorrow and it could be different.

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (my pick for best guitar solo ever)
Marillion - Script for a Jester's Tear
Savatage - Believe
Bright Blue - Weeping (in my opinion the best song ever to come out of South Africa)
