The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

You don't understand the type of walk I've had with God in my life.
I've asked God about everything from music, movies, clothes, etc. It's not as if I haven't asked God about this or I'm incapable of hearing him.

Also, for me, it's not temporal pleasure. [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] make me more fun to be around, less prone to violence, grumpiness, and overall, just more happy. However, joy is only found in God.
It has a lot to do with the mindset you have concerning it. I think that for you, masturbation was addictive, controlling and affected your daily life and walk with God. But for me, that's not the case at all.

I've entered the deep spiritual realms. My age is 18, but many have told me since I was 14 that my walk with God was very unique.It's your choice and personal walk with God. So if you think that way and the Spirit in me otherwise, then to each his own. I guess time will settle it for you.
It needs to be settled whether masturbation is pure or not before going that route.Again I am not referring to food or sex within marriage here. Just masturbation and purity of being a single before the Holy God.

Well, none of us are perfect. I have done some bad things in my life, as well. I won't go into details, though, as I'll probably break more than a few rules.Well it's not surprising to me if you find me "very intriguing". In my former crazy way of living, I have caused many guys to want me pretty much and work hard for me only to leave them just like that. ;-)
My point is I'm no angel. I was as bad as I could be but the love of God has transformed me.
Beware of those that claim that certain things are "sin" when the Bible doesn't say so. Some people do this with alcohol all the time.
