I once accidentally ran over a raccoon with my car. That's not the most evil thing that I've done, but it is the only animal that I have killed thus far with a vehicle.

A wonderful delicacy too expensive to share with strangers, but just right for the person you are most intimate with and trust (God). Why can't it be shared with just anyone? Because it's nachos.

Not standing up for a kid in my dorm who was bullied during our freshman year of college. He apparently thought I disliked him, but I really just didn't want to get caught in the crossfire. Given the verbal harassment that I received at times in elementary and middle school, I should have known better. If I could turn back the clock, I'd try to befriend the guy. Bullying is one of those things that if you aren't part of the solution, and it's happening near you, then you're part of the problem.

For those wondering about myself, the most evil thing I've ever done is probably far to evil to post here on this thread. But I can ensure you, it was horrible and to this day I enough trouble talking about it with those I know personally. I won't go into details, but as a child I was forced to sexually assault other children, which as you can imagine, lead me into my teens going through immense suicidal depression. Although in my walk with Christ, I found that true justice was not found in me killing myself, but by living out my life in Christ and doing good in the world (no It can't make up for the past, but it can make up for the future - as Saint Paul realized). I still struggle with PTSD (nightmares and waking recollections of my childhood), but now I'm going through therapy which has helped tremendously and on medication.

In high school I told a girl she was the most obnoxious person I'd ever met. She really did bug the crap out of me, but it was mean. And driving when I had a little too much to drink. That's was only once or twice tho.

Yeah, there were a few times when I witnessed other people being bullied but I was too shy and weak to defend them. Wish I did something about it now, and I'll try my best in the future.

Answering this honestly and completely truthfully is like asking for the information to be used against you at some point.

I've done evil things, but what I consider most evil is what I haven't done, but entertained the thought of. There are people who I have intensely hated, wanted to murder even, but I never did it. According to our Savior at those points I was a murderer, because even though none of my actions took life, my heart would have smiled if they had met a painful and untimely end. I consider that more evil than anything I ever actually did.

I had a person like this in my life, my boss, and it is really not me to feel this vile hatred for ANYONE! What I had to do was pray for her everyday for months. It was nothing big, I'd pray God touch her life and leave it at that. I still don't care for her, but I don't wish her dead on a daily basis.

I think this is a heavy thread, but possibly illuminating to see how depraved we can act outside of Christ. It's also interesting how some laugh it off, make it a game, and don't take the time to view the vile stuff Christ has delivered us Christians from.

For me there is a simple list of sins AND there is that list that causes me shame in that I was so evil but I am SO grateful that God has cleansed me!

My adolescence was rough. Early teens I was promiscuous, fist-fighting, drank, breaking/entering, vandalism, shoplifting (including purses at church!), lying, smoking. BUT I never mistreated anyone, was captain of my football team, class checker champion etc. But my most depraved activity was at 15 and the most evil was when I was just a kid.

1 Age 15 first--I got in a fight with my dad and he kicked me out of the house. I spent the night in the country with a band. We drank beer, smoked cigarettes as 5 of us each took a turn going into a bedroom and having sex with this girl. She allowed it but even in my world THAT was pretty far out there. Later on she wrote me a letter; I had spoke kindly to her during sex (I guess) but I never replied. Many years later I have wanted to meet her (the room had been dark) and talk to her to see how life turned out for her.

2 As a kid on the farm I found a nest with some baby pigeons. I hung, drowned them all and could feel the evil as I did that. What could make me do such a thing?!
I think our culture believes a lie--that evil was from how you were raised, or you were abused. I think we CAN overcome, be filled with His Spirit, redeemed from our wicked acts in our walk with Him. Praise God!

Wow, the thread actually got serious. Tbh, I can't write down all the evil things I've done in life. There's too much and I think if my evil deeds could be published, it would be critically panned as the most boring non-fiction ever told. At least, that's the POV of the world.

I guess that's why there's the Book of Life and the Book of the Dead.

Yeah, I used to play hero and step in and beat the living daylights out of a bully. It usually resulted in me getting detention, and then the next day being beaten up by the bullies friends.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time at the high school

I never got beaten up in the later years of school btw. I was really hoping that someone would do it, same in college. Nothing happened.
Sad really.
