My real name Unni is an old Nordic name which means ''she that is loved and new''. Explanation: ''unn'' comes from the Nordic word ''unna'', which means ''to love'', and ''ni'' comes from the Nordic word ''ny'' which means ''new''.



My name is also found in the Bible; 1 Chronicles 15:18 and 20 and Nehemiah 12:9. It's a man's name in the Bible. Unni was a musician who played the lyre.
