Hi Bloodfire ~
Jesus would not have to come down here to see the condition of the World today.
He is seated at the right hand of the Father...
and He knows/sees all.

Do I think anything in this world surprises Him?
No. I don't.

The effects of sin.... are bad.

He wouldn't have to say anything. He would take with him those who deserve to be with him and all the others will be marked with the mark of the beast and left here. He already knows what is going on in the world so he doesn't need to be down here (in the physical sense) to have feelings about it. And I am not so holy enough to presume what Jesus is thinking, but I do know that he loves us all and that those who love him and have been re-born in his name will be with him someday.

LOL i didnt mean think as in He doesnt know.. bt what wd He say to all the stuff i mentioned?

You would have to ask him. Just because we are Christians does not mean that we can predict or assume what Jesus is thinking or what he would say. Seek him and he will give you the answer.

Dear BloodFire. If Jesus was here and He saw all the things you mentioned, I am sure He would say the same, as He told His disciples, when they wanted Him to do something about the divisions, and the state, He found men and women in. " Why worry about these things, do all in your power, to give my Good-News to everybody you meet. " Only selfless love and compassion, with all men and women involved in, could change this imperfect world, BloodFire. I say this humbly and kindly, and send greetings. Emmy, sister in Christ.

Bloodfire,

You could always ask God yourself, in prayer. He will hear you and answer you in some way.

The Lord see's it all and even though its as it is, loves each and everyone in it.

I think what He would think is, why don't they just turn to Me, I am right here waiting for them.

Just like I said, you could always ask Him, He is asking why isn't enough people noticing and turning to Him in these days?

well.....

The next time Jesus is supposed to come.. it's going to be a revelation....

So.. I do not think he would have much to "say" but he would have a list of names that he is going to stomp on...

I imagine a there would be a lot of "Not Nice" things would have to say about many things that go on in this world...

But nothing that we have not already been told... sadly....

God Bless

Dear bloodfire, thank you for asking this question. What would Jesus think of the divisions and denominations among His believers? Well, I believe that G-d's word has answered that already:

Jesus Christ is head of the church and it doesn't matter how many denominations there are, or how scattered across the world we are. We are united under Him, when we truly accept Him as He is, and don't try to make Him fit into our description of "diety". Let us look to the book of Colossians for a deeper explanation:

Christ is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of all creation;
for in Christ all things were created, in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible,
whether thrones or dominions
or principalities or authorities—
all things were created through Christ and for Christ.
Christ is before all things,
and in Christ all things hold together.
Christ is the head of the body, the church;
Christ is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,
that in everything Christ might be preeminent.
For in Christ all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
and through Christ all things are reconciled to God,
whether on earth or in heaven,
making peace by the blood of Christ's cross. Colossians 1:15-20

Soon we won't have to wonder what Jesus would think, for the great Yeshua Mashiak will be returning in all of His glory to tell us all exactly what He does think. Then those of us who have been watching and waiting for His return, believing in Him as the Messiah, the Son of God, will receive the crown of righteousness.

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8

Praying that we will all know Christ before that day.

You (any of you) are welcome to PM me any time, to discuss our Savior, Jesus. I welcome it.

Here is one example of how Jesus handled divisions:

Luke 9:50
And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us. But Jesus said unto him, "Forbid [him] not: for he that is not against you is for you."

A few answers run throughout Matthew 7

Then there was the desire to be the favorite of Jesus and sit at His right hand -- Mt 20:23 - [ In Context
And casting the first stone in accusing someone of being wrong.

But the first thing that came to mind was the discussion on the Body of Christ. We are all members with different giftings and strengths, who need each other. We are supposed to be different.

What would Jesus think, or do, if He came down here today?

As others have said He does not need to come here to see it, He sees it from where He sits.

I think He would weep over the lost sheep. He would weep for those who will never know His love from first hand.

Just as He wept over Jerusalem when going into it prior to His crucifixion. He wept out of sadness knowing what was to come upon all those for whom He was to die.

The apostacy will continue to grow, even within the various "churches". This was predicted in many places in the bible, and Revelation shows the ultimate end.

At His next coming at the end of the tribulation He will come as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The whole world will know who He is, and will weep for what they will know that they missed.

It is sad and tragic but all we can do is to continue to carry the message and do our best to see that only the TRUTH gets spread in the various churches/denominations.

His charge to us was to spread the gospel, and that is what we should be doing. I interpret that to mean that we must also do our best in making sure that the truth is spread.

the world now is pretty much as it was then ....fruits , flakes , nuts ... wishy-washy people ...

the presentation and marketing has changed a bit ... same sins , same problems , same people , same God ..

the church is doing what is written in 1, 2 samuel , kings, chronicles ... taking the easy way out , making wrong alliances , being comfortable ...

if we meditate upon ezekiel 3.18-24 ; matthew 281.181-9 ; matthew 25.32-42 ... the reason , the mission , and the perks ... and go and do some thing for the kingdom each day, no matter how great or small , we are off the hook and others will notice what we do and give glory to God , as a result of our faith

Bloodfire...
I believe that Jesus is very patient, and all-knowing...even though we as indivisual people can't understand and comprehend, why God hasn't torn this place down already, with his holy fire, because of all the evil. I believe that he is still giving ppl the chance to accept him, because he knows all about the perfect beauty & peace of eternity, and just because someone doesnt believe or have never herd the gospel, i dont think he will be discouraged with them..(example) Would it be fair to punish your 12month old child brcause he cant say or understand his ABC's? As a loving parent, you would give them time to learn because you know that he is cappable of learning, and in the long run, knowing his abc's will help him learn to read, have a good education, and great job... So using that metephore, should help everyone to know how God thinks........god bless

Bloodfire, I agree so much with what TexasGirl posted - especially this.....

The effects of sin.... are bad.

It's difficult for me to think "what would Jesus think" because it's not like He's in seclusion now and not able to see - for goodness sake, He sees more than you and I do, because He also sees people's evil intents and knows the sinful thoughts of those who never act out. Add to that the fact that He knows the end from the beginning, that He exists outside time.....

I'm interested in this part of your initial question:
full of legalism and strange doctrine and what wd He think of the Trinity?

Well, given that He is OF the Trinity, that to me is an odd question. As to the rest of that, He knows us more than we know ourselves, and He knows how given we can be to legalism and strange doctrine when we are not in the Spirit.

Jesus did express some surprise in certain circumstances while He was on earth. Here's one:

As He spoke these things, many came to believe in Him. 31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." 33 They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, `You will become free'?" 34 Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. 35 "The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. 36 "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. 37 "I know that you are Abraham's descendants; yet you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. 38 "I speak the things which I have seen with My Father; therefore you also do the things which you heard from your father." 39 They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you are Abraham's children, do the deeds of Abraham. 40 "But as it is, you are seeking to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God; this Abraham did not do. 41 "You are doing the deeds of your father." They said to Him, "We were not born of fornication; we have one Father: God." 42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me. 43 "Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word. 44 "You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 "But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me.

The sentence above that I highlighted to me shows Jesus like this - - and then He has an idea - - OHHHH , you are of your father the devil, THAT's why!

And before anyone rushes in to accuse me of blasphemy here, let me say that this is part of the human condition, not seeing everything, not understanding everything at once, and that Jesus was human when He walked on this earth. God incarnate.

so nobody thinks Jesus will come down and scorn the churches and make them change?

Oh, absolutely He will judge, the Bible is clear on that. But you are not talking about that, I know. He does speak to the churches and sometimes even "scold"s them. I know, because He's used me to do it. Generally in my experience, these kinds of things are spoken to the leadership in private. And as for making them change, I don't see Him doing that. He doesn't make people change - it's not His M.O. He is after our hearts, not our unwilling obedience. He will not even change our hearts unless we are willing to cooperate.

blessings in Him

When Jesus sees a church misbehaving now, He works with individuals on correcting their ways. I have seen it happen many times. Sometimes a church goes through a split, but everyone learns through the process.

If someone is in submission to God, then life is a continual process of corrections and improvements, awareness of how we hurt others or ourselves, finding new ways to solve old problems. He is our light -- we see more clearly when He's involved with us.

I was in a church once that went so far off base it seemed impossible. I tried to figure out who was at fault, and realized that it couldn't be pinned down to one or two people.

Each member, no matter how someone might have been hurt by them, had a good heart and commitment to God. They just allowed other things to get in the way of God's voice and correction. They wanted gain, popularity, fame, spiritual prowess, and were blinded to what they were doing.

Eventually God showed each one.
