Religion is man reaching out towards any god.
Christianity is God showing his compassion by reaching out to man.

The Bible is the only book that has hundreds of detailed prophesies in it that has come true and more to be fulfilled. All the religions arn't true - they are all fundamentally very different than christianity so they all can't be true at the same time. Plus, the Bible's characteristics conclude it could only be written by God.

I encourage objective questions, and a couple thoughts come to mind here.

Before we can even begin to talk about reasons to believe Christianity is true, there are two fundamental assumptions that need to be looked at.

First, if you are already operating from an atheistic perspective, you are beginning your question by assuming any supernatural conclusions are impossible. Without dealing with the question of God's existence first, we can't even begin to address which religion (if any) accurately represents him.

Second, your statement to the effect that 'people with different religions all believe in their respective gods, etc., so it’s true for them.' is dangerously close to the all-to-common fallacy about religious belief, "different people believe different things, therefore everyone is right." No one would rationally apply this line of reasoning to other topics. As you know, any claim stands or falls on it's own merit and evidence, regardless of what anyone believes or wants to be true.

Lol the simple answer is because God said so. God put his blessing on his children and they spoke the word of God. We didnt choose for which religon is right God did. And I for one will not forget what Jesus did for me and what he went through. I will take and hold unto the truth no matter what the cost maybe.

You want to believe in Allah go and follow a God that says kill at all cost (Islam, aka terriorist). Or how about heduism or buddist that believe in Gods and have sex, and that reincarnation. is the way.

Christianity is the only way to God throw his son. not to mention its the only one that makes real sense.

Examine the four statements:

1) In order to make this emoticon, type "pink" enclosed with colons.
2) In order to make this emoticon, type "blue" enclosed with colons.
3) In order to make this emoticon, type "green" enclosed with brackets.
4) This emoticon is cool.

Of the first three, only the first one is correct.
Of all four, 1 and 4 are correct (maybe), but only the 1st has any meaning to your life: the fact that the emoticon is cool doesn't mean anything. But the fact that you type "pink" enclosed with colons means you know have the instructions to do something useful.

A trite example.

There are so many other religions in the world, other books, and other things that others follow. People believe in their own god, and their own god speaks to them. People preach, and d everything that Christians do.
It's not difficult to create your own god, the mind can easily create this for you. Why is Jesus real, and Allah, or any other figure false?

Truisms are true. Falsities are false.

Just because someone can be convinced of a falsity doesn't make it true.

Christianity is right because Christ is right--as in perfect in every way. Selfless, loving, kind, patient, humble, obedient--he is the moral exemplar that everyone who desires to be good tries to emulate.

As a teen, I was dragged to church by my mother. Most of the people were neurotic, condescending, gossiping busybodies; I saw nothing special about these people.

Then I saw someone who had inner peace and a kind heart that did not depend on circumstance. These were the qualities I read about Jesus in the book of Luke. It is in Luke where you see the perfect humanity of Jesus. He doesn't play the angles, he practices what he preaches, and gives of himself till death with a joyous heart. This person that I saw had these qualities and I wanted them for myself.

I suggest that you read the Gospels of Luke and John. If the qualities of the one they call Jesus don't interest you, move on.
If you want what Jesus had, find someone who has it and ask him/her lots of questions and go to church with this person.

A relationship with the living God begins with a conversation. Why don't you ask, "Jesus, if you are real and right, please show me. Amen (means done and done)"

I pray that the light of Christ shines on you, so that you may turn to him and be healed.
