Hentenza does a wonderful job of explaining what I cannot. In other words, I totally agree.

Consider this...the very last sentence of the Old Testament ends with the word "Curse".

Ouch, that hurts.

Grace, Jesus brought it to the world, thank God. God's free and unmerited favor for sinful humanity.

You can't pay for it, you can't work for it, ect. It is a gift, if you did something to earn it, such as trying to follow the Laws you are now unable to obtain it since you can now boast that it was obtained through your works.

It is a gift, if you worked for it, it would now be like a paycheck that you earned.

Everything has flipped with Jesus. You used to do works to earn God's favor. Now you obtain God's favor first in which causes works.

Now with Grace your efforts come from the heart to your actions. Before, your actions were to go to your heart. Problem was, it didn't work. Everything became repititious, and religious without a change of the heart and a true love of the Lord.

those of us who understand must teach those who are not told in there churches on how to

#1. Loving GOD with all our heart, mind and soul.
#2. Loving our neighbor as ourself.

this is the problem, they know these two commandments yet they cant us how do we do these?

Fay

you are saying the law that Jesus replaced was the sacrificial laws and not the commandments.

this means that you are aware that there were many laws.

sacrifice
dietary
circumcision
feast days
commandments

yet which one of these was against us?

when will the ministry of death passed away? man is still dying
what is the ministry of the spirit? put the verses

if the 10 are engraved in stone (BY GOD) how could they be pass away?

stone don't fade or pass?

also as far as Corinthians's this same Paul said

Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

which is it?

in other words ISRAEL did not understand that the end was eternal life

Moses radiant face was a example to them and us of what a glorious body would be like if we obey God, walk with God, follow every word of God.

Show me where He does? Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.

here is where the sabbath day is affrimed by the apostles

Acts 1v 1: The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
2: Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

Now Paul affirms the law

Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
Acts 13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Long after Jesus resurrection the New Covenant firmly in place the Aspostle Paul taught the Gentiles to keep the sabbath!!!

Peace be with you,

But you must be repentant of your sin and atone for them.
There is NO blanket of grace, where we can simply ask Jesus for forgiveness generically and be absolved.

There are ten commandments and each is enforced by ALmighty God.
Yet our Christian culture seems to covet constantly. Our churches, for example, are constantly trying to outdo the other. Hence we have bigger uglier churches.

It is also become accepted in Christian culture to fornicate ( come to church looking like a harlot), commit adultery( remarry), have false gods (worship america) etc...... and be PROUD of it.

We must remember and try to keep ALmighty's commandments and be sorry and recognise sin if we are to be absolved.

Praise and exalt Him above all forever!

Please address the verses that I posted instead of posting an opinion.

1 Cor 3
13 unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

BTW- Where the Jews able to follow every word of God, obey God, and walk with God?

Yes, repenting and a humbling is required for the Holy Spirit to come upon you. Yet, it was not your works that promted God to quicken your heart in the first place. It requires a humbling of yourself and a heart that is ready to give up your control of your life and let Jesus move in and take over. God calls, you answer. You can pray a prayer of repentance all you want, it's not till God has called you first that your prayer is credited to you.

Consider this. If you bust your butt trying to fulfill all the Law of Moses, then stand back and expect to be a participant in the Grace that Jesus brought to the world by saying "look God, I've done all this work", you now disclude yourself from the definition of Grace. God's free and unmerited favor. Free, cause you didn't work for it.

I understand your concern with the body of Christ and their sin. Yet sin has been a problem from the beginning, be it under the Law or under Grace.

Consider this also... Did Jesus come to remove sin or to clear the conscience of the worshiper? Sin is gonna happen, Jesus came so we would not be constantly reminded of our sins as was the problem of the Law and lose focus on God himself do to the guilt of sin.

Hebrews covers this very well and that once Born again with the Holy Spirit, God now see's us through his perfect son Jesus Christ. God no longer remembers our sins. There is no condemnation.

The more you focus on the beatings and the long slow death that Jesus endured to be the perfect scarifice to pay for our sins, past, present and future you will realize that everything you do to rebuild a relationship with God is rather useless.

Oh what a God that had a Son that sacrificed his life so we may have a covanant with God that is a "new and living way". The animal blood only covered the sins under the Law. The blood of Jesus comes in and washes us clean from the inside out. Hense the term Bathtism by the HolySpirit.

I say all this is complete kindness, sometimes the black ink makes words seem cold.

First, Jesus Christ fulfilled all of the Law because no man could or can. There are many shadows mentioned in the Holy Bible of things to come, and Jesus Christ is the Reality that replaced the shadows.

Matthew 22:36-40 KJV Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Colossians 2:13-17 (KJV) 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath [days]: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body [is] of Christ.

I know that GOD doesn't make any mistakes and that GOD'S Plan of Salvation is very simple. The Apostle Paul spoke to many in his ministry about GOD'S Grace and Love in comparison to the Law of Moses. The big point that Paul made was that no man was ever Saved by the Law, and no man could be saved with the Law. There was much confusion among the Jews with the Law because the Law is what they were taught. Paul taught them about a LAW that was always true throughout history - before and after the Cross - The LAW OF FAITH!

Romans 10:4-13 For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth. 5 For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby. 6 But the righteousness which is of faith saith thus, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down 7 or, Who shall descend into the abyss? (That is, to bring Christ up from the dead.) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 9 because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: 10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame. 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him: 13 for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The Apostle Paul spoke of himself as being the least worthy because he hunted, persecuted, and killed Christians before he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. In contrast, he talked about belief in Jesus Christ and how that belief was not in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:1-10 Now I make known unto you brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye received, wherein also ye stand, 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye hold fast the word which I preached unto you, except ye believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures; 5 and that he appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve; 6 then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep; 7 then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles; 8 and last of all, as to the child untimely born, he appeared to me also. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

In fact, the Apostle Paul talked about how men of all ages were Saved, and it was always through Faith in God and not by the Law of Moses. Faith in GOD was accounted as Righteousness to Abraham and David, and that was long before the Cross. How MUCH MORE would these things be TRUE after the CROSS when Jesus Christ Himself died on the Cross for the sins of men who would believe. NOW, THE LAW OF FAITH in JESUS CHRIST sets men completely free from the "curse of sin and death". Finally, GOD is completely pleased and satisfied with a Perfect Sacrifice who was JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF on the CROSS. Before, men made sacrifices and burnt offerings for their sins and had temporary forgiveness and peace with GOD. Continuing sacrifices and offerings were necessary because no man was perfect and all men sinned. Abraham and David sinned, but they had FAITH in GOD. They were not always at Peace with GOD because of their sin, but they were SAVED because of GOD'S GREAT LOVE, GRACE, and their FAITH in GOD. Paul kept explaining how MUCH MORE NOW since JESUS CHRIST paid the Perfect Price and the Perfect Sacrifice on the Cross. NOW, men of FAITH in GOD could not only be SAVED, but they could have EVERLASTING PEACE WITH GOD because of the Perfect and Completed Work of JESUS CHRIST on the CROSS. Man has never been SAVED by works or the Law of Moses.

Ephesians 2:1-10 And you did he make alive, when ye were dead through your trespasses and sins, 2 wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience; 3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest: - 4 but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved), 6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus: 7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus: 8 for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not of works, that no man should glory. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.

No man can please GOD with man's righteousness or man's work, but GOD is completely Pleased with the Righteousness and Work of JESUS CHRIST - The SON OF GOD THE FATHER HIMSELF - THE CREATOR - ALMIGHTY GOD HIMSELF - ONE WITH THE FATHER!

Titus 3:4-7 But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and his love toward man, appeared, 5 not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Good News! -- The Holy Bible is the WORD OF GOD! -- God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit - The Creator Of All Things! -- "GOD'S GRACE" and "OUR WORKS" -- Thanksgiving Proclamations ( 1623 to 1863 ) -- Thanksgiving Proclamations ( 1961 to 2001 ) -- JESUS CHRIST - VERY GOD - LORD - SAVIOUR - MESSIAH - KING

Galatians 2:15-21
15"We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' 16know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified. 17"If, while we seek to be justified in Christ, it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners, does that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not! 18If I rebuild what I destroyed, I prove that I am a lawbreaker. 19For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. 20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

Galatians 3:10-13
10All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." 11Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." 12The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." 13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."

21Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. 22But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe. 23Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. 24So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. 25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

Galatians 4:21-31
21Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says? 22For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. 23His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise.

24These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. 25Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. 26But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. 27For it is written:
"Be glad, O barren woman,
who bears no children;
break forth and cry aloud,
you who have no labor pains;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband." 28Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. 29At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. 30But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son." 31Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.
