I have met some very kind and good people from different denominations. Lutheran, Evangelical, Eastern Orthodox, Catholic and Pentecostals . I'm still friends with all of them.

I had a new friend I am no longer talking to or friends with. He had bigoted views about Catholics and Pentecostals, and that's why I'm no longer friends with him. He said nothing violent, but in America there are hate crimes going on, and he already has the bigoted views. He did not say anything violent so there would be nothing for me to report him for, but if he did I would need to report him.

I have friends from other religions too, but they are not bigoted people. Some of the friends I had were not religious but I would later find out they had racist views towards either Asians, or Blacks, I no longer talked to them either and I'm no longer friends with racists.

I did not know they were racists from the beginning I found out later when they got comfortable enough to talk about it, they did not seem to care about me explaining to them they are wrong and the friendship ended.

From web search:

"When people and especially teachers claim to be Christians but rather than striving to live a godly life instead embrace their sin and encourage others to do the same, that’s not something to take lightly. That’s a dangerous thing! Whether they know it or not, they have denied the faith, are leading others astray, and actively oppose God and his people. We must avoid such people. "

"Just as Jannes and Jambres tried to disprove God’s power and keep his people enslaved in Egypt rather than them being freed to worship God, so too do these false teachers.

" They claim to lead people to freedom, but in reality, they keep them enslaved to sin. They don’t lead people to a knowledge of the truth because they themselves oppose the truth. "

The people who are able to hurt us the most are the wolves in sheep clothing pretending to be most concerned for our well-being. They get us to trust them if they can, then stick a knife in our backs, their purpose all along, (since the first century!)

"Wolves Among the Flock

Biblical Reference: Acts 20:29
According to the biblical passage, the apostle Paul warns the Ephesian elders that

“after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock” (Acts 20:29, KJV).

This prophecy refers to the infiltration of false teachers or wolves who would emerge within the church,

targeting and deceiving the flock (believers) after Paul’s departure.

Interpretation: The “wolves” symbolize individuals who would pose a threat to the spiritual well-being of the church, seeking to exploit and manipulate believers for their own gain.

The phrase “not sparing the flock” indicates that these wolves would actively seek to destroy or scatter the flock, rather than simply coexisting alongside them.

Implications: This prophecy serves as a warning to the church to remain vigilant and discerning, recognizing the potential for internal threats to arise.

It also emphasizes the importance of faithful leadership, spiritual discernment, and the protection of the flock by the Holy Spirit.

Relevance: The warning of “grievous wolves” remains relevant today, as the church continues to face challenges from within and without.

It reminds believers to be aware of potential dangers, to rely on the guidance of Scripture and the Holy Spirit, and to prioritize the spiritual well-being of the flock."

Are they fully aware they are deceiving? Or do they not understand and think they are right?

What kind of people should a Christian avoid?

Those who are hostile to Christianity.
Those who would seduce or tempt to sin
Those who would lead you into error.
Those who would exploit or rob you.
Those who would divert you from Christian growth and maturity.

Consider what seems to be contradictory advice

Pro 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
Pro 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

The difference between these two admonitions is your assessment of the situation. If you fear being sucked into foolishness, avoid him. If you think you might be able to do his some good, you can try to correct him. Similarly your assessment of each situation needs to consider your own danger or the possible good you might be able to do.

I stay away from anyone who does not have a pacifistic spirit, as "the light of thy body is thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body shall be lightsome." If you are not surrounded by those who promulgate your spirit of peace, harmony, love, and kindness to all, avoid them and pray that they convert from their darkness.
