If God exists then and he is impassible, and not capable of making mistakes, then why bother withhim except for our own purposes? Because for me importance comes from being linked in in a nexus of value in life (+ or -, or neutral), if God cannot make mistakes there is no need to be practically oriented for His benifit, as it is always guaranteed. Therefore all action ought to be human and animal oriented, as we know they are capable of passibility and disorientation. Whether this involves for us a prayer life or not i would leave to the individual.
