I think this is why understanding what was once a physical type, pictured in the sanctuary service - in the earthly tabernacle, that has been transferred to the Heavenly Sanctuary is so very important in understanding the overall plan of salvation.

Nothing has changed in the sanctuary service except one thing. It now has a deep "spiritual" application instead of a mere physical application. We still bring our Lamb to the Priest. We still slay the Lamb. We still fill our vessels with the blood. That blood is still sprinkled in the Sanctuary before the Ark, etc., etc.
