What is God doing in your life?

God is doing so much in my life right now. And oh boy, it can be pretty tiring...but He's molding me, and I will rejoice! I want His will to be done in all things, especially with me.

The things that He has been revealing to me have always been there, and I've even read about them in the Bible, but I never fully understood. God is good, and in Him I must put my trust. Have you ever thought you could back everything up with your "human" wisdom? God is showing me I don't have true wisdom, but He is giving me His.

So what is God doing with you guys out there?

Molding is not always easy but God knows best and in His hands we are save. Sometimes it does hurts but hang in there the end result is excellent.

I have been through a molding and a healing process and now I am a preacher in training.
Every time when I think I KNOW ALL, God have a manner to bring me down and I see I know nothing yet. I enjoy my Christian walk with God.

I've always been able to pray anytime, anywhere. That's never been an issue for me. But lately, I've been studying the word like never ever before. That is a definite God thing - I realized I needed to really get in the word, but I also realized I don't liek to study. So, I asked him to give me the hunger for his word, and he has. I think he is training me for something, but I don't know what.

The Lord is most deffinately working on me...
Lately , he been working on me to improve my prayer life. I get so distracted and unfocused when I pray.
Just today I was praying befroe going into work, that the Lord help to love people more. He gave me a quick answer and a rebuke) "how can you love them, when your not praying for them?"
In almost every facet of life the Lord is at work. Sometimes it feel too intense. But I trust him better then I trust myself. I usally make bad choices, he always makes good ones. But that dosen't stop me from taking back my will at times and making the bad choice.

this's a great thread Autumn, i often wonder how people can come together, have fellowship, study the bible and yet neglecting to share their spiritual lives.

i've had a hard revelation, God wants me to take a firm step in faith and trust, He says clearly that it's past time for me to get off the fence. There's no fear in trusting Him.

What is God doing in your life?

Well, where should I start? The Lord has turned my life around, and given me a chance to go back to school. For the first time in my life, I'm really focused on my school work. After getting good scores on my tests, I'll get in a "plug" for the Lord. I'll say something like,"well, the Lord's still in the miracle buisness!" People look at me a little strange sometimes, and they wonder how I'm able to do so well. My testimony is that the Lord took my drugs and alcohol away about five years ago, and put books in my hands. The more I praise Him, the more He does for me. That's the secret to my success. I've been going through a slight valley lately, and I'm looking forward to reaching the top of the mountain. I've truly enjoyed reading the testimonies of you guys, and I'm glad to hear people praise the Lord. The school thing that I mentioned, is just one of many blessing that I've received since In turned from my sinful lifestyle. I had ran from the Lord for many years, and finally He caught me. PRAISE GOD for not giving up on my rebelious soul! You guys have a good weekend, and thanks for living for the Lord. Man, God sure is good to us!!! PEACE. I'm OUT. Darby

The Lord is teaching me.... to close my mouth, and listen. To others and more importantly to Him. He is my Teacher and Father. Just like a young child, I'm learning His will is to take care of me, if I will allow him to be the Father He wants to be in my life. Giving back the control I thought I had, is an awesome lesson. Thank you Jesus for being patient with this child.

Amen

God is opening my eyes, and making me see things like never before teaching me something new everyday. His works never cease to amaze me. No words will ever be enough to thank him. The best way I can think of to thank him, is to continue to walk in his ways, and give him the honor and glory he so rightly deserves.

Wow, Big Ed, this is so true. I thank you for sharing this. I need to be praying more too. When the Lord fills you with His love for people it is absolutely amazing. Have you ever looked at the people around you and thought how impossible they seem to love? (ofcourse knowing that you are just as unlovable) Then God fills you with His never ending spring and you just want to show everyone His love. This is truly from God, and glorifies Him. For even the worldly love those who are good to them, but to love those that are not, definately is from God.

I love reading what you are all going through in your Christian walk.

Right now I am going through a lot of prophecy, which I never really looked into in full detail. (I stumbled across the Preterist forums) I still am leaning more towards a futurist perspective, although I believe some prophecy has been fulfilled. Some passages are tricky to explain, but I take them in faith.

God Bless, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

That's pretty cool. I still can't get enough of studying the Bible, but sometimes I have to force myself to set aside the time to do it. Once I start reading, I can't stop. We are all being molded for God for some purpose, we just need to remember, whether He leads us to do something Big or Small, we are all His Temple, working together.

I'm glad you're all in my family
