Wow this thread has some good answers.

In a sense you can see salvation as a game. You have to give something up... to God... then there's a rule that you have to do something with what you have... in God... there's something you have to avoid... and the end result is love if you can stick through to the end. I don't know whether you could save everybody calling salvation a game, but children might go for it.

Anyway, I thought about it and there are a couple of points in the gospels where you could say that Jesus was playing a game, like when he drew in the dirt (to come up with a response that would save the woman from being stoned - see gospels). The other examples I thought of are more doubtful - like would you call asking a difficult question of the pharisees a game? perhaps a word game? - but these examples may hold up, depending on what definition of game you use.

Then there are the games He would have played as kid....

I asked God to give me dreams about the games Jesus played and He did, and what I learned was that a lot of things were like a game to Jesus. I didn't get a dream of any established game though (like rock-paper-scissors). I guess its up to us to make games He would play, all the same.

jesus didnt just play one game, he played the all simultaneously on a giant screen. And he owns at them all.

In fact, just yesterday i was playing halo 3 when someone came up and killed we with a sword. His name was jesus followed by some clan name, so the game told me "you have been beat down by jesus"

I did however manage to rocket jesus a couple of times after that. He just kept going to the exact same spot every time and i just happened to be there every time. Camping FTW.

I'll be honest about this; even if Jesus was a child in a time that video games existed, I don't really think He would play them, or have interest in them. Jesus would most likely help His [Earthly] father Joseph or His mother Mary. Thats just what I think.

P.S. I'm new here, having registered a couple days ago. What does health mean or blessings mean next to where the avatars are?
