I teach that scripture and the Spirit are the teacher. Jesus said so.So either you are not obeying the entire mandate. by teaching, regardless of the medium in this case. Or by your own admittance this work is unnecessary.
I suppose so. But it's in sharp contrast with tradition which is often wrong. It is still teaching.
No, we should point people to Jesus always, but we are also the means that He uses to reveal what He has to share so we can grow. It's not our gifts, it's His. We are merely the conduits.I suppose so. But it's in sharp contrast with tradition which is often wrong.
All people ever did was confuse me.It is still teaching.
What gifts? Some gifts have ceased. No, we should point people to Jesus always, but we are also the means that He uses to reveal what He has to share so we can grow. It's not our gifts, it's His. We are merely the conduits.
There are no true apostles today and we know this because apostles showed signs of an apostle. No, we should point people to Jesus always, but we are also the means that He uses to reveal what He has to share so we can grow. It's not our gifts, it's His. We are merely the conduits.
I'm sorry that this was your experience. Many times the confusion comes because the teachings are not biblically grounded or Spirit inspired. Or people's biases or just plain old poor communication. But we can be taught by others when we can recognize that God is working through them. Don't miss out on how God may want you to grow. Or limit God in the way He should work. All people ever did was confuse me.
I boast in my weakness so people will know that it's ok to have weakness. Sometimes people believe that Christians are in perfect health and they have no hardship. But thats not true. My weakness is depression induced psychosis and what appears to be anxiety attacks. I have social anxiety as well. But I'm doing great despite the hardship. We overcome. I also have great joy. I guess it might be something like Paul said, we are sorrowful yet rejoicing. I guess, I dunno. We are hard pressed on every side but not in despair. We are cast down but not destroyedSeems to go well with 2 Corinthians 12:9 "I will boast of my weaknesses so Christ's power will rest on me."

Yes, and the person taught by Scripture recognises that God works through people to reach people. He came to humanity in the form of humanity to reach humanity. He did not leave humanity as orphans but gave them His Spirit not only for themselves but for others. Working through them to reach a broken world, with the mandate to teach others to obey Him and all of His words, including the words that guides us to preach, teach, fellowship, encourage.A person taught by the Bible points to the Bible and not man
The problem is that many of them are blind. Their church is full of political factions and love for the world. Thats not from God. By their fruits you will know themThe person taught by Scripture recognises that God works through people to reach people. He came to humanity in the form of humanity to reach humanity. Sounds like you had some pretty bad experiences in church. Not all churches and gatherings are filled with strife. The problem is that many of them are blind. Their church is full of political factions and love for the world. Thats not from God. By their fruits you will know them

Even Peter and Paul had some conflict, which they resolved. But even then they were united in their common understanding of Jesus, birth, death and resurrection. The strife is seen at home in the political arena. It's also seen in the Pope, Luther, and many others. They're divided which proves they have flawed doctrine. Paul called it heresy.
Utterly His Decision. Why don't God or Paul just send another apostle to replace Paul? Why did he instead give us this dire prophesy?
Paul said divisions show heresy. I cant seem to agree. The things people are divided over are man made things anyway. Get rid of them I say.Even Peter and Paul had some conflict, which they resolved. Sometimes what we have in common outweighs our differences. What we have in common is the revelation of Jesus for our redemption.
On that note I'll leave you be...
Be blessed brother.
