If this statement is true so who needs separate churches wasting limited financial resources? Why not merge? They are attesting that the issues that divide them are a lie. See here: History

What are they teaching that's worth while? Its just a religion business?

I had been a Jew.. and nothing of true spirituality was ever taught in synagogue. It was all about human goodness and hearing the Bible stories of Passover and Hanukkah.. and Purim... But never anything ever taught about how to have a relationship with God like those in those Bible stories knew.

Why not Messianic, Orthodox and Reformed? Or any of the other denominations in Judaism? Good question.
Messianic tends towards what? Are you speaking of the likes of Jews for Jesus? Or, unregenerate Jews who await the Messiah?

The non-denominational denomination of what's called the Christian and Missionary Church seems closest to Pentecostalism, but doesn't talk about gifts, tongues, etc.:

www.cmalliance.org/alife/catch-the-vision/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

The Alliance was to be an association to promote healing, sanctification and the Second Coming of Christ. Recognizing the power of corporate prayer, Simpson envisioned a “prayer alliance.” While we have developed organizationally into a denomination, we endeavor to be a living movement and to retain our original spirit by being open to people from all denominations, as well as those with no denominational background. I like to tell people we are an “inter-denominational denomination.”
Simpson’s Alliance comprised Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, Episcopalians, Pentecostals, Holiness church members and others. We continue to welcome people from all backgrounds. We have a sense that all are integral parts of a team, each fulfilling a role in the Body of Christ for the sake of furthering the Kingdom of God.

We are an “inclusive” movement that does not impose many doctrines, just the basic tenets of evangelical faith and our own emphases on healing, missions, the Second Coming and the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit. For example, the C&MA does not take an official doctrinal position on Calvinist/Arminian issues such as eternal security. We believe in the imminent, premillennial Second Coming of Christ but do not specify one’s belief on the rapture. We accept both charismatic and noncharismatic styles.

Since you identify your belief system as "Judaism" what difference would it make to you one way or another? Christianity and Judaism are like chalk and cheese.

Evidently, since you are on a Christian forum you must have some interest in Bible Christianity, not Denominationalism (which is an aberration).

Speaking of the outward merging of denominations, it is quite immaterial at this late date. And it is totally impractical.

I'm surprised that this was your selection. The CMA wouldn't seem to be either non-denominational (the topic here) or an example of a Pentecostal church. What are we missing?

ould folks describe for me the significance of "non-denominational" of some colleges and churches?
All the non-denominational churches I know of are nothing like baptist. There are merely not affiliated with a large bureaucratic denomination.

Colleges want to be considered non-denominational so they can maximize the number of students. If they claim to be a denominational college, only students of that denomination will attend.

The reason that people say non-denoms are usually like Baptists is because their typically very limited statements of belief include principles and beliefs that are most often associated with Baptists but not with the other large denominations.

For example, Baptism by immersion; no infant baptism; the Lords Supper is only a symbol without any presence of Christ in any sense; there is no ritual (liturgy) involved with the worship; and of course there is congregational autonomy. None of the other leading church denominations square with even that limited list of examples--not Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, none.
