What do yall think of my XVCR???

Well here we go into my latest modding project. This one took me about 3 days, working a few hours each day.

So Here is my 2nd Xbox:

You might me thinking I'm insane right now but take another look:

Well...there she is...I wired the Xbox to be controlled with the VCR's old Power and Eject button. If you want to see this puppy in action download this video its about 450 KB in file size.

LOL...good point Thats basically what I started out with. I wanted to make it look exactly like an old VCR but really be a XBOX.

Yep I do...I use the LED calculator all the time...I mod boxes all the time thus use lots of LEDs. Are you into modding?

That in fact would be. 16 port switch. I use it for Xbox Lan's at my house. I have 3 TV's in my room just for Xbox and watchin' movies. I also have a 6 port hub that i have my mom and myselfs computers networked on which i can uplink to my 16 port thus having 21 Xbox's hooked up at the same time. little overkill huh? hehe...

Hey that looks good pgp...If i was a chick thats how i'd do my xbox's up...all pink and prissy Why don't you paint that drive too? just mask off the LED and the volume knob and the headphone jack. And paint it up. You could even bring in a secondary color also, like purple or something. Just a thought Keep up the modding Check my site in profile to see other Xbox mods I've done.

i have been looking at putting a computer into an old DVD player case for a while now, but havnt had the funds to do so. i will be starting it next year when i build my new computer (ill use my old parts to make the project, theyre still good parts mind you )

Nice paintjob dude!!! I wanted to do a 2 tone paint job on my other box but decided againts it cause it was my first box to paint and I wasn't too sure of how the paint reacts and what not. I just didn't want to make it look like (not good). <----I hate it when it censors non cuss words that aren't bad because it actually makes it look like you said a cuss word.

But ya, excellent job. What type of paint did you use? I used Duplicolor on my first box. It worked pretty good for me.

it was my first and only one and still under warranty.
i used tamiya car model paint.

im glad i dont have to paint my new ps2 as its already silver
