  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I feel a bit worse tonight than I did yesterday - was a bit of a start the day feeling like rubbish, went to work, where I began to feel okay (probably because I was so preoccupied with work tasks ) then went to Bibel study and couldn't really concentrate all that well. Hopefully I'll be better in the next couple of days...

Ugh - been there done that. Last week R was off work sick for the whole week, both kids have had it, and I have had it. However mr 4, has still got a bit of it, it just doesn't seem to be going away for him and now has an ear infection. he's got some medicine for it, but it is not nice to be sick, so I know how you feel.

hehe...I love poker (but not for gambling purposes - more of a recreational relaxation). The World Poker Tour on Foxtel is one of my must watch TV shows of the week and I got a poker set for Christmas with chips and stuff. But I don't think I'd ever make a career out of it, even though I think I'd do okay.

The tablets did a great job - I only have a slight cough now and feel much better than I did 10 hours ago.

an yea... it seems to be an alright game... specially with monopoly money. lol but i would never use my money.. it would b waste i think...unless i won. hehehe..

Funnily enough I've now got a crumb from a Subway anzac biscuit stuck in my throat and it won't come out

Anyways, I've been to a seminar here at uni about database research methods to help me with my project - only just made it on time because I spent 15 mins at Subway (because I was made a footlong instead of the six inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki that I ordered and there were only 2 "artists" there). The fact that I got a free drink and cookie sort of offset my frustration at such service. When I get off the comp soon I'm gonna grab a drink of water instead of coughing the crumb out of my throat.

hmm.. well yesterday i finished my uni work, meaning i basically dont have anything to do this weekend uni wise which is awesome... cuz im tired...

an last night i went 2 a friends place to watch a dvd with other friends which was heaps sweet too an yea..

I tasted the most vile, awful thing I've ever had in my mouth tonight...coconut juice. Smelt awful, and even a few drops of it almost made me vomit

Our link missionaries visited church tonight. They spent last year in PNG with Wycliffe Bible Translators and are lecturing down at the Bible College of Victoria this year before going back to PNG next year. We had a PNG themed night where in the middle of the service we ate some samples of PNG food, and part of that was trying coconut juice. If you've never tried it before....don't. Unless you're looking for an emetic.

today i worked as a preschool teacher for the day

also, my friend and I compiled the music for my party this weekend,

and now i want to finish off teh two assignments due his week tonight! *fingers crossed* would be good if i could get these out of the way tonight!

its been ages since ive posted on here.... been so busy.. among other things...

well i worked today, and am suffering from pretty bad back pain.. so am on light duties at work.

also working on my nissan 180sx trying to get it on the road before Fast Fours and rotaries Jamboree '06. will be stripping it down in the coming weeks, and fixing alot of stuff on it.. and getting it repainted most of the hard work is out of the way though (got that done a while ago) best thing is i dont have to pay labour (well only for the painting) i do all the work myself which makes it all the more worth while for me.
