A bit over halfway through The Da Vinci Code...so I can make an informed opinion of the book, plus see what the hype's about. Interesting, but I know that what it portrays certainly isn't in line with the truth

If you haven't yet read Angels and Demons, I suggest you do. "Robert Langdon" is the central character also, and this story actually takes place (and was written) before The Da Vinci Code. IMHO A&D was MUCH better, especially considering the hype DVC was given.

Right now I am re-reading The Awakening. It is one of my favorites and a good filler until I can find another decent read.
