FYI...each time I visit your Web site I get 3 Stack Overflow messages from Internet Explorer 6. I'm not sure if you have a Java Script problem, or just some incompatability with IE6.

It’s got a lot of validation errors, both as HTML 3.2 or HTML 4.01 Transitional. It could do with an overhaul, but it’s rather complex, and I don’t think a lot of people care anyway. I do, but then I’m an HTML purist.

1st - the Stack Overflow errors are in fact tripod js errors, and there is no remedy for that problem

2nd - It is difficult to make the HTML validate at 100% when you are on a free server such as Tripod or Geocities, since they autoplace their code within yours. Kind of stuck on that one.

As for a critique:

GENERAL:
1. Change the color of all the links in the page to be the colors of your logo - Blue for unvisited, and green for visited. Do this for ALL pages in the site.
2. For flow and consistancy keep with one font for your content in the site. You have used Arial, Times, CosmicSans and a load of others - I would just choose one and stick with it.


- FRONT PAGE:

1. I would center the content on that page rather then right justifying it just for the look of it.
2. You need to edit the page to have a title - right now it says the title is index. Within the HEAD area of the HTML is a <title></title> tag - just paste Dave's Poem Website between the tags and that will take care of that.

- DAVID'S POEMS page
1. I would again center all the content
2. I would keep the "logo header" for all your pages consistant - keep it the green and blue color that is displayed on your front page.

1. Center content, logo consistancy
3. Unbold the text

- TRIBUTE TO MAVRICK JR
1. Center the content, and un-center the text except for those you are thanking
2. The logo-header color consistancy issue again
3. You have this header called Jordan, but the link says Mavrick Jr. - this confused me a little and had me thinking I may be on the wrong page. I would somewhere in there say that Mavrick Jr is Jordan or something to that effect.

- CONTACT
Since this page is only telling a person to click on a link to email you, I would do away with it altogether, and make the link that once let to the page to be a mailto: link instead.

- LINKS
1. The left image, either change the color for consistancy or remove it, and replace with the same format and style you have used on the front page.
2. Center the content
3. The image and link for Rovers Return is broken

Now, with all that said, please do not take any offence to my suggestions - as they are only suggestions I am a developer, and just think that it could easily be a bit nicer looking.

This I know only too well. My pages don&#8217;t validate by URL redirection; I upload them from my local machine to validate, and they do, but as soon as they&#8217;re on the Geocities server, the code is invalid.
