Everytime I fear... I go to my safe spot in the closet and I just pray up a storm... it just makes me feel warmer... cutting just leaves me feeling more cold and numb than before. Depression does seem to drag my bright mood down a bit, but God can just turn my frown up side down faster! It finally hit me that if we are walking the Christian walk, and truly following Christ, then these blessings are for us. We are blessed! We are not to be pitied- by ourselves or by anyone else for we are blessed by the Most High God! The simple truth is, our sins ARE forgiven. Who are we to attempt to undermine God by NOT forgiving ourselves and moving on???? Every day is a new beginning... It's a fresh start from God Himself. If we will rest in Him, there is NOTHING...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that can make us cut. Just remember that.
