Sorry it took me a while to respond back. I don't want to say specifically what I do for a living. If you guess it please keep it to yourself. However I make arrest very often, most times im at disadvantage where I have to control multiple subjects. Most times I work at night in remote areas. If I ever present myself with an once of weakness when gaining control of subjects I have no doubt that I will be assaulted. Ive seen it happen many times. Its truly a dilema to have to treat someone harshly because you cant show weakness for your own protection and the protection of coworkes. I never really thought about it until I began trying to live better. Now I make my arrest, I break down their property, I see their Bibles and its hurtfull. I numb up on the drive to work and pray. I repeatedly remind myself that there is more to living then life, and that I cant hold on to any of this so tight as to jeopardize me going to heaven.
I received a blessing, a really good, truly great blessing from God a few days ago. And for the most part I was numb and that felt wrong and im ashamed of it. I like what I do, I enjoy what I do, and God did so much to get me here especially from where I came from, thats a testimony in itself. Ive read Romans, thank you for redirecting my attention to it. The church I started going to has a small group meeting ive been wanting to go and I think im going to try to bring it up there also.
