Very nice testimony Mary. What a web the Lord weaves to capture us with His grace. Don't worry about the length of your testimony. I'm already drafting out an outline for mine. I expect it to be about 30 minutes... =) My 2012 New Years Resolution is to finish that for you before Dec 21st when the world ends.

It amazes me looking back over my life - it really does. The way God kind of somehow instilled an understanding of Him way back when I was little. It's such a testimony to His sovereignty..and if I dare say it, predestination, in some ways...

And thank you - I told Amber at the beginning I didn't know if I could make it short - but she told me to give the concise version

Though, whenever I explain to anyone how God got a hold of me, I truly have a hard time because I feel no matter how I tell the story, it doesn't do Him justice...

Oh, and forgive me for ridiculing Jeremy Camp a few months back in a certain CF thread...

If I can get through mine without crying ( which really is saying something because I cry very easily normally ) then you can get through yours with appropriate language!

Thanks, both of you, for sharing.

Amber, can completely relate to "faces of church" thing. I do not attend a congregation at this time (and have not for many years) although I did used to attend - and it's rare in my experience that you come across genuine people - although I've been blessed by my experiences with those who are.

I meant to thank you ladies for the videos as well! I love how you shared your testimonies. I think you ladies make awesome videos and really hope you make more as I can see them touching many, many lives.

As for others sharing, mine is intense and I would have to use caution with things I say. I am kind of shy about this. Also, my Youtube uploads painfully slow so it may have to be a very short version. I am praying on it.

oh yay! so glad to see people uploading testimonies! thank you for sharing, ladies. Its always so amazing to me to hear how God is worked in other people's lives and how He draws them to Himself. And I can relate to the angry against Christians thing too. unfortunately i think a lot of us who have grown up in the church can :/ but i like what you said about how Christians are not perfect - we can love God and still be messed up. Its a process for all of us, and i'm sure... in fact I know I'm just as guilty as the holier-than-thou hypocrites that i hated growing up for my own particular brands of hypocrisy.

Thank God He loves and is willing to forgive and be merciful to us no matter how messed up we are

Also. I didn't know I promised to upload my testimony, Amber. I talked about it, but i believe I was very careful not to actually commit to it. but now I feel kind of obligated since i did push for more people to start posting it. And really the only way to encourage others to post is to post one myself soooo.... I'll try this weekend to push myself out of my comfort zone and make a video. but i'm not promising anything

I am thinking of doing an audio one also, but it will be told through the eyes of Bob the Penguin. Using imagery he'd be acquainted with, so my journey will be his journey in a way.
