  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Okay, this was done as an experiment. I've never done a shoutout with my phone before, so I didn't know how well it would turn out or even if it would turn out at all. Anyway...success! I'll be using my phone from now on because it was SO much easier, plus it uploaded very quickly.

I don't think you need to take it down. That was a cute video. You looked good.

And it would be encouraging to those who are trying to lose weight I think. Good on you for being strong enough to resist temptation! It's not easy. And we all have our battles of temptation. To be face to face with it and say "Nope I'm not going to do that" takes a lot of will power.

Cute dog as well. She definately had that expression of "Feed me already, stop making a video!".

Na don't think its a matter of rule or anything. Just sayin that I find it odd when people specifically ask for a shoutout video. To me it becomes more about "hey I know you weren't thinking about me, but Think about me now and make a video for me".

But, that's just me.
