In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I didn't get to hear all of the shoutouts. For some reason the clip stopped in the middle and started over again.

Anyway, yes, LOTF has a great accent despite the cold! And loved the reading of Chaucer!

Wow, all these videos. Trying to listen to them all...though it makes me feel like a stalker, so I thought I had better post to mention that I have enjoyed looking through them. So many different and unique accents!

LOTF, you have a great accent...I did not finish listening to all of the clips, but so far I have enjoyed the ones I have listened to thoroughly. You should become an audio book narrator/reader, or whatever that's called. Also, thank you for the shoutout. I apologize for not being active as much about this place, life keeps me occupied much of the time these days.




Where is everyone getting these questions for the accent challenge from? I haven't been keeping track of the forums very well recently, so I must have missed it.
