I can't really help here, since I have irregular cycles too, so I would be greatly interetsed in any answers from other ladies!

I had very irregular cycles prior to conceiving my daughter. I used the OPKs, and now have a regular cycle. I bought the dollar tree OPKs I would by 10-20 of them at a time, and then just test every day. That way I had enough to make it through whatever my cycle was.

no, im not worried about that but i know that these work themselves out.. you can never be too ready for anything, really...

my best friend has two babies and they don't have much money but they can't let money or lack of overwhelm them, its working out for them, these things just do.........

That's what I tell myself...that "it will just work out somehow", but it's still super scary to me. My parents were definitely broke when their honeymoon baby came along (me) and somehow they are successful and happy today. Sigh. Half of the people I tell this too say "have faith" and the other half says "wait another five years; you're so young." AAHHH! Thanks for letting me vent, ladies

Before my husband and I began to TTC we were concerned with financial issues but everyone kept telling us if we wait until we're financially ready we'll never have a baby. To us it was a confirmation that we should start trying. You have to remember that God is in complete control. It took my husband and I 7 months to conceive and during that time my husband got a better job offer which pays a great deal more than he was making. I am a SAHW and will be a SAHM once the baby comes and as cliche as it sounds you do have to ultimately trust that God will take care of your family, after all it's not even your money to begin with . Good luck ladies!

Hey I heard about something today and wanted to know if any of you have heard of it before. A friend of mine who is pregnant went to a fertility specialist before she became pregnant. Her husband's sperm count was perfect, but the doctor told him to take Folic Acid daily. She got pregnant on the next cycle. She knows of 5 different women whose husbands did this that became pregnant soon. So I figured why not? My dh is taking folic acid now, and we will see.

how do I tell the difference between the CM descriptions? Wet is wet to me and I simply don't see "sticky, creamy, watery or eggwhite." Actually, I think of all of it as watery which is putting misplaced green boxes on my chart! Help.....

The finger stretch test does really work, CM stretches a lot at peak fertile times! (when it's clear)

I also found this page which has (black & white) illustrations.

Hope that helps

Well Beth if you want to know all about it, touch it with your fingers and see if its stretchy or not. If its really nice and stretchy and you can stretch it between your fingers for a nice distance, then its eggwhite.

Watery is like... tons and tons but with no consistancy. Soaking your underwear at inconvenient times, I guess, but not after "special time" (not even the next morning) beacues that would just be man stuff.

Sticky isn't much, and creamy is less also but more there than sticky.

Hopefully the temp taking is going better because that will help with the confusion
