• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Think I'll sit down here for a bit... (8)

seajoy,
Wherever you go, you will enjoy it. Germany is beautiful. Shouldn't be too bad weather wise in November. A lot like Wisconsin maybe. We shall all live vicariously through you on this trip. I know I would love to visit Germany again, two weeks was just not long enough!

IF, by any chance you get near Wittenberg, the museum there is worth visiting. It is a place I say all Lutherans should visit. One does need a few hours though.

They didn't have the tea basket out this Sunday and I had to make tea with what I was able to scratch out of the dark recesses of the tea drawer. There was a box of the nicest loose tea. I haven't made loose tea in such a long time. The stuff simply isn't available anymore. Anyway, looks like I'll have to break loose with a few boxes of tea for the basket. Then again, I just might bring the teapot and use that lovely loose stuff again... may...be.

I pretty much only use loose tea (though I do keep some bags of Lady Grey on hand when I want something a little citrusy). I'm drinking "Mhogel's Best", a rich black my husband got from the Russian grocery down the street. It's nothing special... kinda like an Irish Breakfast. Just plain, good, solid black tea. Yum!

When I want something "girly" I make the Czar Nicholas red-package tea. I'm not sure what all's in it, other than rose petals. Not rose hips... it doesn't taste like Zinger tea with that ascorbic acid bite to it. Rose petals. More fragrance than taste. It's lovely.

Prayers LilLamb. May take him longer to get home, but keep thinking that he will get there. Let us know that he does get home.

I think by the time this year is over, we will have all experienced flooding. There has been so much of it this year.
