Let's list what are some things not to talk about on a first date.

That's funny. Depending on your date's sense of humour, that would make a good joke.

I laid it flat out on the table when I and my SO met for the first time. I had her give me her understanding of Ephesians 5:22-6:4 (relationship between a husband, wife, children, and God), and 1 Peter 3:1-7.

so far that has not stoped us

There's the run of the mill..don't talk about how horrible your past relationships/Significant others were. It's funny how people think they are "sharing" when in fact, it comes across as belittling. And more importantly, the other person has to wonder if this is how you'll behave if your relationship ends.

ok that first one would probly creap me out at first....but then I would just laugh at it.

I wouldn't reccomend saying "Will you marry me?"

Though I know a guy who did that on their second date (which was a week and 1/2 after the first). They have been married for about 30 some years and are an incredibly Godly couple.

Just that one... and he even asked her a few days later if she was sure she wanted to do this because he was half-drunk when he asked her.

I also think having ones mom drive you and your date is not the best idea!! (this happened to a friend of mine)

Nope. It also probably helped that I cut my spaghetti instead of twirling it around my fork. Much less messy that way!

I don't know about other guys, but I wouldn't give two toots if a girl I went out with got spaghetti and had problems eating it without being messy. I'd probably think it was darn cute.
