These Lions

Thursday, March 18, 2010, 5:45 a.m. – I woke this morning from a dream.

THE DREAM: At the end of the dream, I picked up my camera. I looked at what was on it. There was a video of my Grandpa Jones (now deceased) that I played for several people in my family. When one of my aunts (now deceased) heard his voice, she came over to see what was on the video. I know there is more about this, but this is all I remember.

Later, I picked up the camera again. I saw a video of an adult family member lying on top of a child family member (the scripture passage will bear out the significance of this). Their heads were to the west and their feet were to the east. He was trying to kiss her on the lips. She evidently had left the camera on video record so that I would know what was going on. She even looked at the camera as though she was looking at me and she was crying out for my help.

So, the next time I saw this adult family member, I told him that I had discovered something on my camera. The hint must have been enough for him to understand what I was telling him. He said, “Did she have the video recorder turned on?” I said, “Yes.”

I told this adult family member that my husband and I had made our share of mistakes and that this was just not acceptable behavior. I told him I would have to tell his wife, unless he was going to tell her.

There was another similar recording on my camera, but I don’t recall the details of it.

In one part of the dream, most likely prior to this, I was going to school. I had a class I was scheduled to attend, but I had to go to another class first to get some kind of instructions. I believe my husband was in this classroom, too. I think the teacher was a lawyer. He passed something around the class for us to read individually. It was a lengthy read, though I am not certain that I read the whole thing. So, this class took up the whole time that was allotted for my other class, so I missed that other class altogether. I think it was the first day of class, too. END

Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Psalm 35 (great Psalm):

Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me.
2 Take up shield and buckler;
arise and come to my aid.
3 Brandish spear and javelin
against those who pursue me.
Say to my soul,
"I am your salvation."
4 May those who seek my life
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot my ruin
be turned back in dismay.

5 May they be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the LORD driving them away;
6 may their path be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
7 Since they hid their net for me without cause
and without cause dug a pit for me,
8 may ruin overtake them by surprise—
may the net they hid entangle them,
may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.

9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD
and delight in his salvation.

"Who is like you, O LORD?
You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,
the poor and needy from those who rob them."

11 Ruthless witnesses come forward;
they question me on things I know nothing about.
12 They repay me evil for good
and leave my soul forlorn.

and humbled myself with fasting.
When my prayers returned to me unanswered,
14 I went about mourning
as though for my friend or brother.
I bowed my head in grief
as though weeping for my mother.

15 But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee;
attackers gathered against me when I was unaware.
They slandered me without ceasing.
16 Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked;
they gnashed their teeth at me.
17 O Lord, how long will you look on?
Rescue my life from their ravages,
my precious life from these lions.

18 I will give you thanks in the great assembly;
among throngs of people I will praise you.
19 Let not those gloat over me
who are my enemies without cause;
let not those who hate me without reason
maliciously wink the eye.
20 They do not speak peaceably,
but devise false accusations
against those who live quietly in the land.
21 They gape at me and say, "Aha! Aha!
With our own eyes we have seen it."

22 O LORD, you have seen this; be not silent.
Do not be far from me, O Lord.
23 Awake, and rise to my defense!
Contend for me, my God and Lord.
24 Vindicate me in your righteousness, O LORD my God;
do not let them gloat over me.
25 Do not let them think, "Aha, just what we wanted!"
or say, "We have swallowed him up."

26 May all who gloat over my distress
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who exalt themselves over me
be clothed with shame and disgrace.
27 May those who delight in my vindication
shout for joy and gladness;
may they always say, "The LORD be exalted,
who delights in the well-being of his servant."
28 My tongue will speak of your righteousness
and of your praises all day long.

First of all, when I was reading this scripture passage, what struck me is that the enemy appeared to not only be the person I saw on top of this other person, but he/it appeared also to be the person underneath this person, as well as I seemed to be the enemy, as though we were all in the wrong and/or we were all the same “person.” Well, the news stories, compared to this dream, seem to bear that out.

I read the story concerning Obama’s interview with Bret Baier on Fox News. I thought about that story because the dream was centered around videos that were taken on my camera, but not by me. The article stated that “An unhappy Obama completed his answer, repeating his familiar reasons why lawmakers should pass legislation that would deliver the White House a victory on its top domestic priority during an election year when Democrats face tough prospects.”

Ok, a kiss has to do with lip upon lip. A lip has to do with speech. So, the kiss has to do with putting words into other people’s mouths or certainly influencing their words. What I saw here is that Obama/Congress/The White House was the adult relative on top of its “top domestic priority”, which is the ravaging of the innocent. In “Northwest Condemned,” I learned that the “health care” legislation is really about raising money for terrorism and world domination. That is our government’s “top domestic priority.” The Lord has shown me this over and over again.

Yet, another way that our government is “ravaging” the innocent is with their words. They prey upon people who have innocent and trusting minds; who believe what the government tells them. So, the American public is also the ”child” who is being ravaged here, and it is through the lies and deceit (their lips) of our government. Brit Baier told Obama about two viewer questions (out of 18,000) that were “critical of what they called bribery and trickery to pass a bill supposedly good for the country” (by our U.S. government leaders).

Yet, I saw one other possibility for this child, but this one has a twist to it, and that is that she represents Fox News, because the child and Fox News are close to the same age. This is where I saw that the person being portrayed as the innocent was also our enemy. In this Psalm, it spoke first of all of those “who pursue me,” which I saw as the adult upon the child. It continued by stating that “they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me.” I still saw this as the adult over the child. It continued by saying that God rescues “the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them.” Still, I was seeing the adult over the child. The passage speaks of this enemy as being like a “brother” or a “mother”, which is why I believe the Lord pictured it as members of the same family (incest, basically). The Psalmist continued by calling out to God to “Rescue my life from their ravages, my precious life from these lions.”

This is when I felt the twist took place, though it could have been there all along. When I read, “Let not those gloat over me who are my enemies without cause; let not those who hate me without reason maliciously wink the eye,” I immediately thought of how this young girl had placed the camera there, and had turned it on record, so she knew this was coming, and she looked in the camera as if to say “help me.” The Psalmist continued, “They gape at me and say, ‘Aha! Aha! With our own eyes we have seen it.’” Ok, there I saw myself saying to this adult relative, “I saw what you did. I saw it on film,” only I didn’t come right out and say it. I hinted at it. Then, the Psalm said, “We have swallowed him up.” There I saw Fox News as the “victim” but not innocent, as though this was all staged for the cameras.

Then, I saw Fox News as the perpetrator on top. The article stated that “Baier acknowledged that he had spoken” (lips/the kiss) “over the president many times,” which is what I saw in the dream with the adult (who was the Uncle of the girl) trying to kiss her many times. So, in this case, the “victim” was the U.S. government. Basically, the idea here is that the “perp” and the “victim” blend together, i.e. they are one and the same and all of this is theatrics for the benefit of the public, including the purported public who have supposedly expressed disdain over the bribery and trickery of the government. This is not to say that there is not a real public outcry over the acts of our government. I believe there is. And, I believe the true victims here are the innocent who are being pursued, caught in the net and ravaged by the trickery of the government-media-public theatre production.

With that thought in mind, I will discuss this last paragraph and the first paragraph, too. In the first paragraph of the dream I saw my Grandpa Jones on video. When one of my aunts heard his voice, she came over to see what was on the video. This second article is about lawmakers struggling to finish the health overhaul bill. It begins this way:

“Pushing toward a history-making vote, Democrats struggled to eliminate lingering complications standing in the way of House action this weekend on President Barack Obama’s landmark health care overhaul.” Ok, I saw my grandpa (deceased since 1974) as “history-making”. The year 1974 is significant for me, personally, because that was the year that I gave birth to my first son who will turn 36 years old this September. It is also the year that President Nixon resigned from office as a result of the Watergate scandal in August of 1974, one month before my son was born. My aunt, the daughter to my grandpa, died a year ago this past January in 2009, which is when Barack Obama took office as president of the United States of America. So, it sounds as though the move we are talking about is a move to eliminate the president of the USA or at least the office of president. I have had previous dreams where I felt the message was that, with Obama, the office of president of the USA is defunct and that he is president of the USA only De Facto.

“De facto is a Latin expression that means "by [the] fact". In law, it is meant to mean "in practice but not necessarily ordained by law" or "in practice or actuality, but without being officially established". It is commonly used in contrast to de jure (which means "concerning the law") when referring to matters of law, governance, or technique (such as standards) that are found in the common experience as created or developed without or contrary to a regulation. When discussing a legal situation, de jure designates what the law says, while de facto designates action of what happens in practice. It is analogous and similar to the expressions "for all intents and purposes" or "in fact". The term de facto as of governments was created after the Argentine Constitution referred to illegal governments (governing bodies which Argentina did not acknowledge as individual nations) as de facto governments. In the last section of the dream, I was going to school. Yet, I was distracted from my real class by having to go to this “other class.” I thought the teacher was a lawyer – Obama is a lawyer. And, I thought I had to read something that was really long – like the health care bill. I didn’t think I read the whole thing. The news article stated that Democrats were “promising 72 hours for lawmakers and the public to review the legislation once it’s released, which would push a house vote for Sunday” (3/21), the same day Obama planned to leave for an overseas trip, which he now apparently has postponed. This fit with a previous dream where I was supposed to go on vacation and I was wondering about something costing so much that it would hinder me being able to go, and that cost, I believed, ended up being the cost of human lives and the cost of our freedom here in the USA. Anyway, the point of this last section, I believe, is that the government-media have the public so distracted by this health care legislation that they are missing what is really going on which is their real agenda – pursuing, capturing, robbing, ravaging and swallowing up the innocent around the world, including their own (incest).

Twice now the Lord has ended writings he has given me with a combination of these two hymns, and he did this again today. They are “Soldiers of Christ Arise” and “Rise up, O men of God”. And, that is the concluding message. We need to rise up! We need to put on our spiritual armor, because the fiercest battle we will ever face in this life has begun or is just beginning, and we need to be ready to fight the battle, which is a spiritual one.
