Another blessed dawn I face,
One more day of love and grace;
I need your wisdom God to live,
A filling of fresh love to give.
To you alone my fount and spring
This dry and thirsty soul I bring
For the quenching you provide,
O living reservoir inside.
Sparkling clear, pure and clean,
The Source is real and yet unseen,
I've no excuse now to remain
On dry and dusty, barren plain.
Amid the heat of life on earth
There's joy, thankfulness and mirth
For I've a cooling fountain near,
An everpresent listening ear.
Weary and faint? Oh, don't give up!
You still have faith to dip your cup
In living water, deep and pure
Your everlasting source and cure.
John 4:13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14) But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
