regarding the rapture, i am a pre-trib rapture believer as far as the time line goes.

as far as everything else, i believe that God will quicken knowledge of Himself in new believers prior to the rapture so that they might 'catch up' and strengthen their faith, but also so that they might use their gifts and also be strengthened by other believers.

the bible tells us that the time before the rapture will be as it was in Noah's day where every day events were happening, and sin was rampant. But what we also must realize is that during those days and years Noah kept on doing what the Lord commanded of Him, even though he was derided for doing so. So i believe that kind of faith and witness will also be present in the comming days.

then again we have the tale of the seven wise and the seven foolish bridesmaids to learn from. This is another tale of being prepared and watchful as well as being faithful.

and lastly the bible also tells us that along with the faithful believers--the Bride of Christ-- there will also be martyrs in heaven. Those martyrs i believe will come from the present day "foolish bridesmaids" who are alive when Christ comes back and know what is expected, and yet had not prepared or believed.
Those are the ones who, like Jesus' disciples, will turn again and believe, but at a terrible cost to themselves of their lives. And they will have to wait until the last Judgement after the end of the millenium to have their reward.

i pray that none we know are among that bunch who have to wait so long when the end of the church age is so very near us today.

Brothers and sisters let us be the faithful ones; always looking out for His comming, always listening for the trumpet's call, and the sound of His voice calling us home!

Those Christians who have died come back from heaven with Jesus.

1 Thess 4:14
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. KJV

Those Christians who have died or the dead in Christ shall rise first.

They receive their glorified bodies first.

1 Thess 4:17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: KJV
