So it's got nothing to do with whether you've been raped or not then
Ive no intention to discuss what occurred to me with you. I dont see you as a person who posses empathy and believe youd use any of the information I shared to inflict further harm. Ive seen enough of your posts to see that your intent isnt necessarily about a desire to see a persons perspective... to learn from it... and enrich it by adding your own. My perspective is your intent walks and talks the very thing I profile but I dont get that feeling from the other posters... thats my view since you asked for it.

I prefer the word "Gender equal". It's neither, both matriarchalism and patriarchalism are inequal.

Meaning in working life that a person who is more qualified, gets the job, regardless of man or woman. This goes for leadership positions aswell.

Or in a relationship, it means that two people are free to form whatever kind of dynamics they are happy with, instead of sticking to gender roles.

When a quarter of women will be raped, and there's a 90% chance that rape will be committed by a man, don't you think that women are entitled to be cautious?

You keep throwing that statistic out even after I've mentioned that it comes from a study where the authors themselves are calling that statistic misleading:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brian-earp/1-in-4-women-how-the-late_b_8191448.html

I think you might be letting the media fuel a fear in you. It's one thing to be cautious. It's another to be paranoid.

I asked my wife if she'd take a defensive stand in an elevator with a man. She said at night, alone, in a bad part of town, with no one else around - maybe. During the day, in a office building, or a shopping center, or yes, a train station - never.

She does not lump all men into the set of "potential rapists". She does not throw out misleading statistics. And she's happy that she doesn't live her life fearful of men.

This is patently ridiculous. There isn't anything inherent in being a teenaged boy that prevents them from stopping something when told to stop. This kind on nonsense is just enabling.

You need to judge for yourself what stats you want to use. Ive pointed to what the goverments of Australia and EU use as well as the world health organisation. They have very solid data collection methods but if you dispute them then... Im not sure what to say except the point of the thread is support of white ribbon day and I hope you will join that support
