You want to love others because you love that idea of your self but jesus said, deny your self, seek the kingdom of god first. He said love others as your self, not like your self.
Okay, so that's where I got confused. I read the passage wrong I suppose?
I know we're supposed to love everyone, no matter how annoying, hurtful,
malicious, rude or obnoxious they can be. Through knowledge and understanding, in time I think it's possible for people to do. To know where
their iniquities are coming from, satan.
It doesn't make it easier to be calm, when someone slanders you, or
talks behind your back. Or, a person that believes that you are inferior to them.
Forgiveness is essential and divine, and I have forgiven the people who've wronged me. Does it make it easier for me to be around some of these same people? Sorry to say it hasn't.
