My husband is a very shy person and he cannot stand the peace. His tactic now is to use our son as an excuse to leave LOL. If our son is in the nursery, he goes out to check on him before the peace starts and comes back once it's done, and if he's at the service with us, our son--who is extremely social--usually starts getting kind of rambunctious during the peace, and so he takes him out into the lobby.
