Then why state a time man cannot comprehend? Doesnt make any sense does it. If it's God, time has no matter to Her. You can't say God made the Earth in six days without taking something from her awesome power. Are you able to comprehend GOD's time? How long is GOD's one day, can you tell me please? 24 hours?

for a really well directed movie about Jesus.. you can watch the Last Temptation of Christ by Scorsese.
I agree but why does everybody believe that they have to be? What does it prove if dinosaurs aren't in the Bible? The Bible is God's word telling us that we have sin in our lives and what God's remedy is for that sin. What does that have to do with dinosaurs?TWells said:...and no...dinosaurs are not in the Bible. Not even in Job.

Looks interesting but the story put forward by that creationist website isn't what I believe. I believe in the gap theory in Genesis. I believe the 6 days of creation were 6 days of a recreation after a very old earth had been made desolate. The dinosuars lived during the time before this recreation. I believe the Behemoth and Leviathan of Job is Satan in his dragon form and which is metaphorfic in nature.Bushmaster78FS said:It doesn't matter to me, I 100% agree with "why does everybody believe that they have to be? that's a very reasonable position to take.. and, given the overall instructive nature of the Bible, fits quite well.
Spaise said:Does anyone have an opinion on Mel Gibson's new film 'The Passion'. It's sparking a lot of controversy among the Jewish community. I heard it was a great film. I don't necessarily believe in all of it, but i most definately will see it. I heard the film makes the Jews look bad and that it will really sparks a lot of anti-semitism. I really hope it doesn't. I saw some screen shots, and this movie is going to be deep.

Is this position I have new to you vajradhara? It can be easily understood by reading Job. When you read the book of Job and read it with the understanding that the Lord is speaking of Satan, it makes perfect sense.
There are many references in Job 41 that shows this creature is Satan. His "light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning" (Job 41:18) reminds me of the Lucifer in Isaiah 14, The son of the morning. He is impervious to human weapons, suggesting he is not an earthly creature. He can breath fire-again not a quality of any living creature that has ever lived but one that might be expected of Satan in the dragon form.
Once it is understood that Leviathan is Satan, then the last verse of this 41st chapter in Job has one key clue: He is king over all the children of pride. This suggests that the fallen angels that make Satan their king have all rebelled and fallen for the same reason: Their pride causes them to forsake God and attempt to become like gods.
The Romans were just as guilty, Jews whether they like or not had something to do with the crucifixion of Jesus. I don't think this movie makes Jews look bad, afterall that's the way it happend in the bible.Spaise said:I read that Gibson combined the four gospels to create this vivid account. Do you think the Jews have enough things to worry about. I can't help coming back to this because it is sure to spark some sort of backlash, and i really don't believe it is necessary at all. I don't think people are smart enough to leave things in this past, where they belong. Gibson from parts of the script i read did a rather poor job of depicting the Jewish people of the time. Is it necessary to make the Jews look worse than the Romans?
